Civil Warfare is done. The cameras are off.
That doesn’t mean that the action is finished.
Apathy and Eoin O’Rourke stand back-to-back in the ring as the crowd closes in. Both have steel chairs and have been using them freely against the angry crowd that has fortunately not charged as a group, but sent individuals out to be brained by steel chairs.
Apathy is tired, having wrestled a heck of a match, but she stands tall in the face of such danger to herself and her husband. She spares a glance up to the rafters where Samael Drago and the Eternal Grove have left their viewing perch, escaping with Annika Devereaux.
There’s a certain level of irony to what just happened, but that’s neither here nor there.
Apathy has wrestled. Eoin has wrestled. None of the fans have wrestled tonight and the black rain has granted them an energy that is hard to contain. Each chairshot is getting weaker than the last.
Eoin O’Rourke - Liz…I love you.
Apathy - I love you too.
They seem almost ready to accept their fate when Yukio Kushinaga-McClancy appears at the ring entrance stage with the remaining security that hasn’t already been overwhelmed.
Yukio Kushinaga-McClancy - Go! Get Elizabeth and Eoin out of there. Try to not harm these people as they are victims in this too!
Yukio extends her asp batons and follows her security people into the fray, trying to break into the crowd of angry people.
The owners appear next. G. Ian Childress, Valora Salinas, and Jeremiah Vastrix. They are followed by the remaining members of Bad Company, the Upstarts, Tarrasque, and Father Nathan. Rather than commanding the gathered wrestlers, G. Ian Childress leads the charge.
Jeremiah Vastrix stands frozen, his eyes shining bright with unspent tears. Valora cuffs him in the back of the head.
Valora Salinas - Come on! You’ve got to help!
Jeremiah Vastrix - How could they do this…
Valora sees the heartbreak in real time as Jeremiah seems to come to terms with what the Eternal Grove has done to the audience. She almost seems to want to say something else, but runs off to help. Jeremiah stands alone on the entrance stage, watching in horror as wrestler, owner, and security guards fight the maddened audience members in order to get to Apathy and Eoin to get them out of there.
Jeremiah fumbles with his phone, dialing a number as the first tear rolls down his cheek. It is not alone as the dam breaks.
Jeremiah Vastrix - I have a riot going on at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena. Send help! The audience has turned violent!
He gets an answer, but doesn’t hear it as he drops his phone to the ground and joins the battle.
Inch by desperate inch, the battle turns toward the CWF as people have to be battered and wrestled to the ground, the potency of the black rain done after it has fallen to the ground. Apathy and Eoin are pulled out of the ring by Valora and Yukio.
Just as they advanced, it seemed as if the thousands of violent wrestling fans would swallow everyone whole when all of the entrances to the arena opened up to allow in Warhammer Shocktroopers. (Faceless soldiers like Stormtroopers from Star Wars in white carapace armor) They begin firing tear gas into the crowd and shooting bean bags at the crowd to suppress them as they begin to make their way to the wrestlers and security guards to free them from the battle.
As quickly as it started, the battle was finished. Without leadership directing them and having been gassed, battered, and shot with bean bags, the crowd is cowed. Many people are lying on the floor, bleeding onto the floor from their wounds. Jeremiah Vastrix himself is pulled out by Shocktrooper veteran leader Gideon Rogers, who has his own phone and calls 911 to get a host of police, EMTs, and firefighters coming to the arena in order to help with the sheer mass of wounded people. Thousands of people have just been drugged, and many were hurt during the recent battle. The Governor of South Carolina himself is getting a phone call to declare a state of emergency…
The audience members look around in confusion and pain as the effects of the black rain begin to wear off.
