The ‘show’ comes on and we find the CWF News Desk, with someone we’ve not seen in a little while, the CWF’s Commissioner, Blaise McClancy.
He’s got a tablet in front of him, and he’s wearing a suit jacket over a henley style shirt.
Blaise McClancy - Good evening, and welcome to the announcements for the first show cycle for Conquest Wrestling after Civil Warfare. Civil Warfare was a hell of a show, and the fallout is still going on.
A video of the end of Civil Warfare, aftermath… censored for a regular crowd plays in the picture in picture.
Blaise McClancy - While we are working with local and federal authorities on what happened, we will be moving on into the next cycle. That starts with Vanguard, of course. Episode 6 of Vanguard in Season 5 will be coming to you from the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia.

Blaise McClancy - So we’ll start with Vanguard with someone new. Anthony Khalil Savagage will make their CWF Debut against Mysterion. Mr. Savage is a long time veteran of both the military and wrestling, and we hope we see good things from him. And his first test will be Mysterion.
| Anthony Khalil Savage | vs | Mysterion |
Blaise McClancy - Our second match up will be to determine who will get first dibs at the newly crowned Skirmish Champion, Akame McClancy. Akame-chan has finally come into her own abroad and in the federation and was crowned as the inaugural Skirmish Champion at Civil Warfare’s preshow, Civil Disobedience. She now is one of only a couple of people who can say they have a win over her teammate and best friend, Abigail Dresden. Well Dresden is not first to get a shot. We’ll see the Eternal Grove’s Karlie Nash take on Alex Nelson. Of course other than meeting the weight requirements, this being a Skirmish division match, there will be a 15 minute time limit on the match as well.
| “The Premier Athlete” Karlie Nash |
vs | Alex Nelson |
Blaise McClancy - Out next match will come off the heels of what happened at the end of Civil Warfare. The Eternal Grove’s “Brutal” Mick Brandon will step into the ring with a ‘father’ who is looking for his daughter. And this is the first person he might be able to beat some answers out of. “The Irish Assassin” Eoin O’Rourke is coming off a defeat at the hands of the “Left Hand of God” for the Elite Title, but I’m sure he’d love to get ahold of someone from the Eternal Grove more than getting a rematch. But, being the son of Irish Immigrants who came to the states and settled in the South West… I might be up for considering making this match a bit more ‘Brutal’, for the record Mr. O’Rourke.
| “Brutal” Mick Brandon | vs | "The Irish Assassin" Eoin O'Rourke |
(OOC Note: the members of the Eternal Grove have all been given access to the Character of “Brutal” Mick Brandon for this match up. They will be selecting someone to roleplay for him. )
Blaise McClancy - And our final match for Vanguard was also setup on Civil Disobedience. Our new Valor Champion, Rayven Reinhardt may have stopped Madd Morales’ Valor title run.. But she’s got a hell of a competitor in her first defense in that march to five: “The Final Girl” Sadie Graves. Ms. Graves made it through the gauntlet and might have put someone on the shelf for a bit doing it. Can Rayven get her first defense or is it a one and done prospect.
| “The Final Girl” Sadie Graves |
vs | Rayven Reinhardt (C) |
Blaise McClancy - And that will lead us to the Norfolk Scope as the host for Warzone. Just a quick note, we are running military specials for both of these shows for our Sailors and Marines out of the many Tidewater Area bases.
Blaise McClancy - And we’ll start off this half season with a match that we’re going to be looking long and hard at. This is going to be a falls count anywhere match with the winner possibly getting a shot at the good Father Nathan. First the Hardcore Icon, Steve Murdock a many time contender for the Elite Title in the past, and a former Maelstrom Champion for 4 Winds as well. And on the other side of the ring when it starts will be the Eternal Grove’s Vespertine.
| "The Hardcore Icon" Steve Murdock |
vs | Vespertine |
Blaise McClancy - The next is two coming off a hard Civil Warfare card. Both took loses, and now both need a win to get things going again. First we have the former 4WW Maelstrom Champion, and the only person who has technically been with the company as a wrestler, longer than his opponent. Tarrasque was there on the very first ever CWF show, and two shows later the man now known to us all as “the Paragon” Greg Salazar joined us, albeit under a mask at the time. But if you can believe it, this is the first time these two will clash in the ring. Two men, one three count.
| “The Paragon” Greg Salazar |
vs | Tarrasque |
Blaise McClancy - And this will bring us to the match of the night we’ll have to reinforce the ring for. Tale of the Tape on this match: 7’ 4” and 443 lbs on one side. 6’ 4” and 300 lbs on the other. But I’d put them both about equal on the strength category of a competition. Dylan Erickson, the Massacre Maker is going to be tested by “The Hound of Hades” Viktor Kriegson. Kriegson, if you ask me, just had his win of his career at Civil Warfare. It wasn’t for a title, but he got a win over a man who has done it all for CWF, including as our first ever Conquest Champion, in Greg Salazar. Erickson may not have won the Valor Shot Gauntlet, but he impressed all the same. This match is a battle of two big Kaiju sized men… and only one of them can come out the winner.
| “The Massacre Maker” Dylan Erickson |
vs | "The Hound of Hades” Viktor Kriegson |
Blaise McClancy - And out main event, no titles on the line but a test of sorts… a hometown hero of sorts… Madd Morales, who hails from the Tidewater area, Norfolk to be exact will be getting a match to prove himself. He may not have done his 5 defenses as Valor Champion, but the man is going to get a shot to wow his hometown crowd as well as our booking team. His opponent, the Upstarts’ Fiona O’Connel. She recently competed for that Skirmish Championship, and is still the 4 Winds Tempest Champion after a quick trip to an AWS show in Australia… but both of these people also need that jumpstart for the new season. Beating a former Elite and Valor Champion can pad her resume, and she’s come so close to so many other big wins. Can Madd Morales keep her down and score a win that could recover his momentum quickly, and in front of his hometown crowd?
| Fiona O’Connelle | vs | “The Airdevil” Madd Morales |
Blaise McClancy - And there you have it, as CWF heads for the final half season in the United States before we head to Europe for Season 6. Tune in through your normal channels and remember:
