The camera comes on, showing the CWF logo and then moves to show Valora sitting behind the desk.  She’s dressed in her ‘corpo’ gear and is leaning back in the chair.

Valora Salinas - Hola, fans.  I’m Valora Salinas and we’re here to talk about CWF Season 5, cycle 8.  This week, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia fans will be saved from being surrounded by shitty sports teams that couldn’t buy a fuckin’ win and will be able to see actual, world class level athletes perform for them.

Valora picks up a small stack of notecards she has and reviews them.

Valora Salinas - Alright, first off.  Vanguard comes to you from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  More specifically, the PPG Paints Arena.  And on that note, let’s get right into things.  Vanguard kicks off with Karlie Nash vs. Sadie Graves.

Valora grins and lets out a little laugh.

Valora Salinas - You might be wondering why I booked these two together.  The answer is simple.  Because I fuckin’ can.  I’m expecting this to be an entertaining match.  Karlie Nash has actually been showing her talent as of late here and almost managed to take the Skirmish title off of Akame McClancy.  Sadie Graves has been on a hot streak since her arrival here in CWF and pushed Rayven to the limit in Rayven’s first title defense.  I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say the winner of this match might work their way back into future title considerations.

Valora takes the notecard with the match info and tosses it aside, then looks at the next card for a moment.

Valora Salinas - Next up, we have Sabrina Landerford v. Zolothach.  So we have a matchup between A model of white privilege and an all-around miserable human being taking on a crazed cultist.  Keep an eye on this match, kids.. This could be both brutal and bloody.

Valora tosses the card aside and moves on the next notecard reading it over before continuing.

Valora Salinas - Next up, we have Duke Kosloff taking on Dylan Erickson.  Another interesting match and it should be entertaining watching these two go at it.

Valora takes the notecard and holds it up towards the camera before tossing it aside.

Valora Salinas - Next up, we have a match that will determine the number 1 contender to the Skirmish title as Madd Morales takes on Carol Doll.  Now, Carol is new, we don’t know much about her except it’s yet another creepy, crazy girl gimmick.  Assuming Zolothach doesn’t sue her for gimmick infringement, we’ll see what she has to bring.  Madd Morales is one of those high potential people.  He is a former Elite Champion.  A title he won in a Elite X match against a number of other contenders.  He definitely has the tools to be a champion but he’s hit a patch of bad luck.  This is his chance to get back into a title picture and remind people that he can’t be overlooked.

She tosses that note card, flinging it away like a frisbee.

Valora Salinas - Next up is the main event of Vanguard, Anthony Khalil Savage taking on Rayven Reinhardt.  Rayven has defended her Valor title twice now, defeating both Sadie Graves and Steve Murdock.  Now, she faces off against promising newcomer Anthony Khalil Savage.  Rayven has been trained by her father Kronin Reinhardt, her aunt Kara Reinhardt, and I’m told she has worked with her Roma clan.  At any rate, that training has paid off as she has hit the ground running and is rapidly building a name for herself.  Anthony Khalil Savage has been very impressive in his first few matches since arriving in CWF.  This should be a great match up.

Valora tosses the notecard aside and continues on.

Valora Salinas - That brings us to Warzone, which comes to us from the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia.  Now this is a bigger card than usual, so let’s dive right in.

Valora double checks the notecard and nods.

Valora Salinas - Kicking off Warzone is Eoin O’Rourke taking on Viktor Kriegson.  The Eternal Grove kidnapped Eoin and Apathy’s daughter and now Eoin gets a chance for revenge.  Meanwhile, Viktor Kriegson will be looking to rebound from a loss to Kronin last cycle.

Valora tosses the notecard aside and cycles through to the next notecard.

Valora Salinas - Next up we have Fiona O’Connell taking on Alex Nelson.  All three active members of the Upstarts are in action tonight and this match is the first to feature one of them as Fiona takes on Alex as she looks to rebound from her loss in the Skirmish title match and both she and Alex will be looking to get their names in the various title races.

Valora tosses the notecard aside and looks at the next notecard.

Valora Salinas - Next on the card is Shadow Club taking on Tarrasque and Mick Brandon.  Shadow Club are a new team so we will see what they have to offer and they will be taking on the third team from the Eternal Grove.  I don’t think anyone knows what to expect from this one, but we’ll see.

Valora sets this notecard aside and continues on.

Valora Salinas - Next up, we have the Wild Hunt, the second team from the Upstarts, made up of Abigail Dresden and Akame McClancy, taking on AOC, the lackeys of Madd Morales.  The winning team in this match gets a tag team title shot against Bad Company so there is a lot at stake here.

Valora sets this notecard aside too and reads the next card before continuing on.

Valora Salinas - Next up we have Apathy taking on Steve Murdock.  Last cycle, we learned that Cyber Warfare will see Drago defending his Conquest title against both Apathy and Kara.  Apathy is focused on finding and rescuing her daughter.  Will she be able to stay focused on her match?  Tune in and see.

Valora tosses the notecard aside and reviews the next card before she continues on.

Valora Salinas - That brings us to our main event as Padre Nate defends the Elite title against Vespertine.  We’ve begun to see the start of organized resistance to the Eternal Grove so what initially started by Padre Nate calling out the Eternal Grove has now seen him joined by Bad Company and to a lesser extent, the Upstarts.  Vespertine, has prepared for this match by spending time in jail and sleeping with half the men in CWF.  So.. that’s an interesting strategy, Cotton, let’s see if it pays off for her.  I’m betting no.

Valora tosses the last notecard aside and shrugs.

Valora Salinas - Alright then, that’s the card for the next cycle.  Be sure to tune in or, if you’ll be in Pittsburgh or Philly, come out to the stadium and watch.  This show could be pivotal as we march towards Cyber Warfare and as a reminder, next season, we start our European tour so you are running out of time to see CWF in the U.S.

The scene slowly fades to black as Valora gets up and the card announcement segment comes to an end.
