Opening

The show opening starts as the Warzone theme for Season 5, “Dark Thoughts” by the Funeral Portrait begins to play over the loud speakers. The audience are still getting to their seats, laden down with snacks and merch.

The patented CWF drone fly goes over the crowd as the fireworks goes off around the stage, and then a line down the center of the ramp, away from the crowd, and then to the ring where all four ring posts are.

The drones fly around the crowd at the Capital One Arena, showing a capacity crowd as the Washington, DC fans fill the arena to the breaking point. They look up to see the Warhammer Shocktroopers in the rafters, with Gideon Rogers leading the guard to make sure that no one spikes the rain in the sky.

Eric Wilson steps out onto the stage to a huge roar from the amassed crowd. He soaks the cheering up for a bit, and then addresses the crowd.

Eric Wilson - Good evening, Washington! We have a great night in store for you all tonight!

The crowd roars in answer to Eric. He waits for them to die down before continuing.

Eric Wilson - We are continuing the drive toward Cyber Warfare in New York City! Who will be on the show tonight? FOr that, I will leave you to Benjamin Price and Edward Vega at the commentary desk!

The camera view changes to that of Ben Price and Eddie Vega at the commentary desk.

Ben Price - We have a star studded show for you tonight! We will begin with the debut of an interesting woman tonight in the form of Sabrina Landenford as she takes on Lance Dewlock!

Eddie Vega - Have you heard of this woman? I hear she only wrestles so that she doesn’t have to be home with her husband and kid.

Ben Price - To each their own reason for wrestling.

Eddie Vega - Yeah, I guess.

Ben Price - And then a regular David versus Goliath as Madd Morales takes on Tarrasque.

Eddie Vega - Poor, poor Mad Morales.

Ben Price - Right? He’s going to get stepped on like a cockroach in the middle of the night.

Eddie Vega - Gross. After that is Kara Reinhardt against “Brutal” Mick Brandon.

Ben Price - Yeah, Kara is going to demolish Mick Brandon. Why was this even put on the books? Mick’s going to need an ambulance!

Eddie Vega - Some things you just have to wonder if they were done to set an example. Mick is being made into an example.

Ben Price - Okay, I can buy that. After that is another murder in the making as Apathy takes on Greg Salazar.

Eddie Vega - Apathy has the choice. She could just wrestle a regular match and be able to call on Greg for help against the Eternal Grove, or just fuck him up, and when the Grove comes calling, he walks.

Ben Price - Doesn’t seem like the right thing to do, but I guess that’s why Greg isn’t the hero of the group. The final match of the night is Karlie Nash as she takes on Akame McClancy for the CWF Skirmish championship in a submission match! This should be a good one.

Eddie Vega - I don’t doubt it. Can Akame outsubmit Karlie? I don’t think so.

Ben Price - She seems to think so. I mean it was Akame who made the challenge for the submission match. I think it was to keep Karlie from breaking all of the rules.

Eddie Vega - Probably a good idea.

Ben Price - Well, let’s get down to the ring where Eric Wilson is to announce the first match!

Sabrina Landerford vs Lance Dewlock

Eric Wilson - The following contest has been scheduled for one fall! Featuring first the challenger, hailing from anywhere but home, USA…she is Sabrina Landerford!

The opening of “Since U Been Gone” hits the arena speakers as Sabrina Landerford steps through the curtain. She pauses at the top of the ramp, looking out over the crowd before throwing one arm into the air.

She starts down the ramp at an easy pace, occasionally reaching out to slap hands with fans along the barricade.

Reaching ringside, Sabrina climbs the steel steps and steps through the ropes. She crosses to the far side of the ring, climbs onto the middle turnbuckle, and raises both arms as the crowd reacts.

She drops back to the canvas and rolls her shoulders, before settling into her corner. As the music fades, Sabrina leans back against the turnbuckles and waits for the bell.

Ben Price - This is an amazing hire. I hear that she has a lot of potential.

Eddie Vega - Potential to leave her family at home is what I’m seeing.

Ben Price - I’m sure she would be home if she could, but she can’t. That’s the life of a pro wrestler.

Eddie Vega - The life that she wants to have. I don’t think she likes her family.

Eric Wilson - And her opponent, hailing from Blackpool, England…he is Lance Dewlock!

The arena lights cut to black. A single white spotlight hits the stage as a slow, haunting piano note echoes. A chessboard graphic fades onto the screen, pieces moving on their own—until the king is cornered.

“Checkmate.”

Lance Dewlock steps into the light wearing a long, tailored black coat with silver trim. He slowly removes his gloves one finger at a time, never breaking eye contact with the ring. Every step is deliberate. Calculated.

Halfway down the ramp, he stops… smirks… and adjusts his cuffs like he’s preparing for surgery rather than a fight.

He enters the ring by wiping his boots on the apron—as if the mat beneath him isn’t worthy. Once inside, he kneels briefly, touching the canvas like he's mapping out a strategy before standing and spreading his arms with a cold, arrogant grin.

Ben Price - I don’t know why he could come down with such an elaborate entrance when he is normally a dark match vet.

Eddie Vega - Makes him look more threatening than he is.

As the bell sounds to start the match, Lance Dewlock rushes at Sabrina Landerford to go for a tie-up, but Sabrina hip-tosses him to the mat! Lance rolls through and back to his feet. He goes for a hard right hand, but Sabrina catches him by the arm and pulls him into a short-arm clothesline that sends Lance right to the mat! Lance pops right back up to his feet, but is hammered by several punches from Sabrina and a headbutt that staggers Lance back several feet.

Sabrina picks the man up for a bodyslam and drops him directly onto the top of his head instead! She kicks him in the ribcage several times before dropping a knee onto his midsection.

Sabrina waits for Lance to start getting up before sending him right back to his hands and knees with clubbing blows to the back and the back of the head! She punt-kicks him in the side of the face, sending blood and spittle splattering across the mat in a blow that makes the crowd go “ooooh”!

Ben Price - Jesus, that kick would have made a field goal!

Eddie Vega - That it certainly would have. Damn fine kick!

Lance starts to get back to his hands and knees, but then Sabrina drops a leg across the back of his neck to drive his face into the mat. Sabrina gets off of him and stands back as Lance slowly gets back to his hands and knees, blood stringing from his face to the mat. He growls at her and lunges instead of coming up with any plan. She grabs him and hits a belly-to-belly suplex! She quickly goes for the cover as Regina Cross timidly gets into position to make the count.

….one

……two

……..thre-Lance kicks out!

Sabrina stands up and pulls Lance to his feet before whipping him into the ropes and on the rebound, hits a powerful spinebuster that she calls “Walking Out”. She wraps up both of his legs, bending him in half for the pinfall! Regina gets into position to make the count.

….one

……two

……..three!

Eric Wilson - Winner of the match via pinfall…Sabrina Landerford!

Ben Price - She did it! She put down the enhancement talent technician.

Eddie Vega - You say that it's a difficult thing to do.

Ben Price - Maybe?

Eddie Vega - I mean, yeah, he does beat the other jobbers in the dark matches, but not the “named wrestlers”.

Voice - Hey wait up!

Sabrina Landerford, who was celebrating her victory with her arms raised in the air, lowers her arms to look at Drakkon Rikesen, who had walked out onto the entrance stage.

Ben Price - Oh, this guy again. Does he really have ownership powers? I hadn’t heard the other owners talk about him yet.

Eddie Vega - I don’t know. I don’t want to get fired for figuring that shit out.

Drakkon Rikesen - Good idea, Eddie. I just wanted to come out and congratulate Sabrina on her win against Lance Dewlock, but the wrestling career was not meant to last. You see, Mrs Landerford, I have gotten a call from Mr Landerford recently. It seems that he really, really would like to have you home instead of gallivanting about and getting in the wrestling ring.

Sabrina Landerford just shrugs in the ring and motions for Drakkon to get to the point.

Drakkon Rikesen - Oh, I am getting there. The point is that you should be a good housewife first and a wrestler second. Because you have left home to leave your husband and child behind to make a go of a wrestling career, despite that being the worst idea in the world…I have to make this your final CWF match. You are fired. When you get home, tell your husband to call me and thank me for bringing his wonderful wife back.

Sabrina Landerford stands in the middle of the ring with her jaw hanging open in shock.

Ben Price - That’s cold. Maybe her wrestling income was the only thing keeping the family afloat?

Eddie Vega - I don’t think so. I think she had just gotten tired of being a housewife and mother. Bored housewife of wherever she’s from.

Ben Price - That’s still cold for her husband to go behind her back to call her job to get her fired so that she can go back home.

Eddie Vega - Sometimes, you just gotta do what you gotta do.

Drakkon Rikesen heads to the back, the damage done. Sabrina looks around at the booing crowd that wants to see more of her, her eyes shining bright, before she heads to the back.

Ben Price - After these messages, we are going to see Madd Morales in the ring against Tarrasque. Who’s going to win this one?

Eddie Vega - I’m going to lean toward Madd Morales on this one. His new self is going to rule the ring.

Madd Morales vs Tarrasque

Eric Wilson - The following contest has been scheduled for one fall! Featuring first the challenger, hailing from Norfolk, Virginia…he is Madd Morales!

The arena lights dim as the opening of Pusha T’s “Untouchable” comes through the speakers, red and gold spotlights sweeping across the crowd before settling on the entranceway. Madd Morales emerges with his head slightly bowed, casually adjusting the cuffs of his ornate black and crimson entrance coat. His red-tipped dreadlocks are tied back, a gold chain rests against his chest, and a crooked grin spreads across his face as he surveys the arena.

Shoulders bouncing to the beat, Morales strolls across the stage, lifting his hands to encourage the cheers before turning toward the jeers with an exaggerated look of disbelief. He laughs them off, brushing his shoulder with theatrical indifference, then returns to center stage and raises the horns beneath the flashing ADAPT. OVERCOME. CONQUER. graphics. He holds the pose long enough for the cameras before beginning his unhurried walk toward the ring.

Morales engages with both sides of the aisle as he approaches, slapping outstretched hands and pointing appreciatively toward his supporters, visibly enjoying the attention. The less welcoming fans receive blown kisses, dismissive waves, and the occasional mocking bow, their hostility only widening his grin.

At ringside, he climbs the steel steps and pauses on the apron, turning back toward the crowd with his arms spread before carefully wiping his boots and slipping between the ropes. He crosses the ring and mounts a turnbuckle, chin lifted as he raises the horns once more, soaking in the reaction with an unmistakable air of ownership. Morales shrugs off his coat and passes it to ringside, then rolls his shoulders and loosens his wrists, bouncing on the balls of his feet with the same cocky smile still fixed across his face.

Ben Price - How Madd intends on taking Tarrasque down, I don’t know.

Eddie Vega - He intends to wear the big man down with joint locks and such. Outwrestle him.

Ben Price - Sounds dangerous.

Eddie Vega - It is, but it could work.

Eric Wilson - And his opponent, hailing from parts unknown…Tarrasque!

"Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva begins playing as Tarrasque walks out from the back. He flexes for the cheering crowd, but those cheers quickly turn to boos as he is joined by Vespertine.

She runs her hand over his shoulder with a cunning smile and follows behind as Tarrasque charges to the ring. He steps over the ropes while Vespertine stands at ringside.

Ben Price - I think with Vespertine at ringside with him, Tarrasque is twice as dangerous since Vespertine won’t hesitate to get involved in the match if she thinks there’s a need.

Eddie Vega - Can’t argue with that. She is more forward than Marcus Anderson was, yeah.

Ben Price - Tarrasque doesn’t like the interference too much, but allows it.

Eddie Vega - Pussy whipped like Vastrix was.

As the bell sounds to start the match, Tarrasque charges at Madd to begin the match, but Madd hits a drop toe hold that sends Tarrasque to the mat. Madd quickly applies an ankle lock to keep the beast down. Tarrasque shakes Madd free and gets to his feet, but Madd hip tosses him to the mat and applies a chicken wing! Tarrasque simply stands up, shaking Madd Morales off like a leaf. Madd hits several European uppercuts and whips Tarrasque into the ropes. On the rebound, Madd goes for a dropkick. However, Tarrasque stops in his tracks and palms both of Madd’s feet before throwing him toward the other side of the ring! Madd lands on his hands, flips back to his feet, and runs at Tarrasque, hitting a running knee strike to the midsection. Madd bounces away from the beast, corkscrewing backward to a crouch.

Ben Price - Madd trying to control the pace of the match. Keeping Tarrasque on his guard.

Eddie Vega - Right? The whole name of the game is “don’t get caught”.

Tarrasque walks over to punch Madd, but the smaller wrestler ducks out of the way. He slips behind Tarrasque and kicks him solidly in the back of the knee to bring him down to his knees. He then jumps onto Tarrasque’s back, applying a reverse chin lock with his legs wrapped around Tarrasque’s chest.

Ben Price - I don’t know if that’s the safest place in the world to be right now.

Eddie Vega - Better behind him than in front of him.

Tarrasque simply stands up while Madd holds on for dear life. He leaps backwards and slams Madd between himself and the corner, breaking the hold. Tarrasque turns around and begins kicking Madd Morales in the gut until he falls into a seated position. Then, Tarrasque holds onto the top rope corner and proceeds to kick the ever-loving shit out of Madd in the face and chest until referee Lexi Vega gets between the two to send Tarrasque to the center of the ring so that Madd Morales can get back to his feet.

Ben Price - Awful brave of Lexi to get in there.

Eddie Vega - That’s her job. She needs to do shit like that in order to control the match.

Tarrasque throws his hands up in the air, clearly looking like he would like to pummel Lexi, but Vespertine yells for him to come away from the corner. Lexi helps Madd up and walks away toward the center of the ring. Madd begins to walk toward the center of the ring, but has a leg held back by Vespertine. He stops to look back down to the outside of the ring to Vespertine.

Madd Morales - What the fuck?

That’s all the distraction that Tarrasque needs to rush in and hit an avalanche that flattens Madd against the corner. Tarrasque gets Madd into a side headlock, pulling Madd toward the center of the ring, and hitting a headlock driver before going for the pinfall! Lexi Vega gets into position to make the count.

….one

……two

……..thr-Madd kicks out!

Tarrasque kneels up while Vespertine yells at the referee from outside of the ring.

Vespertine - Come on ref! Can’t you count like a normal person?

Tarrasque gets Madd Morales up to his feet and then into the air in a press slam position before hurling him over the top rope from the center of the ring. Madd flies so far as to slam into the ring barrier at ringside headfirst! Tarrasque poses for the mixed reaction from the fans, flexing his muscles with a roar. Vespertine appears not far from Madd Morales, who is lying on the concrete floor. She notices that Lexi Vega is watching her, so she goes no closer.

Madd Morales slowly gets up and rolls back into the ring. Tarrasque is on him with clubbing blows to the back that keep Madd down on the mat. Eventually, Tarrasque picks Madd Morales up and hurls him high through the air across the ring. Madd spins through the air, landing on his feet and springboarding from there to spear Tarrasque in the right knee! The beast goes down like a felled tree.

Madd Morales springs right back up and applies a calf slicer to the right leg. Lexi checks to see if Tarrasque will submit, but the beast only laughs through the pain. Madd keeps the move on, but Tarrasque quickly drags himself to the ropes and grabs the bottom rope. Lexi gives Madd a five-count to break the hold, which he does. Madd gets to his feet and leaps up to the top turnbuckle. He looks over at Tarrasque, who is already getting up, and hits a missile dropkick that sends the beast back down to the mat!

Ben Price - What a dropkick!

Eddie Vega - Madd is doing better than I had thought he was going to do.

Ben Price - He’s staying out of reach for the most part.

Eddie Vega - That would be key, yeah.

Madd Morales applies a quick figure-four leg lock, applying pressure to that right knee. Lexi Vega leans in to check to see if Tarrasque will submit, but he refuses.

Ben Price - This is a good strategy. Take out Tarrasque’s legs, and he will be hardly able to do his moves.

Eddie Vega - I don’t know…I mean, it's good on paper.

Tarrasque doesn’t fight the leglock; he welcomes the pain as he yells to the crowd before rolling over to reverse the move! Madd Morales yells out in pain before breaking the hold. Madd gets up and stomps on Tarrasque’s right knee a few times before backing away as the beast gets up. Madd aims a drop kick at the right knee, but Tarrasque turns to avoid the move. Madd gets right back up to his feet and aims a roundhouse kick at Tarrasque, who catches the foot.

Madd Morales doesn’t break his momentum, going into a flip and kicking Tarrasque in the jaw with his other foot, which gets the beast to release his foot. Madd lands on his feet and lunges at Tarrasque. He ducks under a wild swing from the beast and slides behind him. He leaps up to stretch across Tarrasque’s shoulders and turns to pull Tarrasque down for a crucifix cradle for the cover!

….one

……two

……..thre-Tarrasque kicks out!

Ben Price - That was almost a win for Madd Morales!

Eddie Vega - That will be a feather in Madd’s cap if he can pull this off!

Madd Morales jumps back to his feet and leaps to the top rope. He steadies himself real quick and throws his arms into the air to take in the reaction from the crowd. He leaps through the air, hitting an asai moonsault before going for the cover again! Lexi gets into position to make the count!

….one

……two

……..thre-Tarrasque kicks out!

Madd Morales stands up, unconcerned about the actual count. He stomps the right knee a few more times before grabbing the leg and attempting to do a spinning toe hold, but Tarrasque kicks him in the butt with his other foot to shove him away.

Tarrasque gets back to his feet and roars at Madd Morales, flexing his muscles before slowly advancing. Madd Morales backs up a few steps before feeling hands around his ankle. He looks down and kicks Vespertine’s hands away, but it’s the distraction that Tarrasque needs to clothesline Madd over the top rope to land next to Vespertine. Lexi Vega yells at Tarrasque about sending Madd Morales out of the ring while Vespertine grabs hold of the ring apron for leverage and uses her foot to choke Madd out.

That’s when Rook and Graves rush down to the ring. Vespertine releases Madd and runs off through the crowd with the pair in hot pursuit. Tarrasque notices this and runs across the ring as Madd Morales is getting up to his feet. Tarrasque leaps through the ropes at Madd, who ducks so that Tarrasque demolishes the ring railing with his head!

Ben Price - Took the risk and lost there.

Eddie Vega - I’ll say. Get in the ring, Madd!

Madd looks at the crashed Tarrasque and reaches underneath the ring. He pulls out a table and sets it up. He grabs Tarrasque, pulling him up and laying him across the table before climbing into the ring and to the top rope.

Madd leaps from the top rope, getting some height before he hits Tarrasque in the chest with a Diving Meteora that splits the table in two!

Crowd - Holy shit! Holy shit!

Ben Price - Wow! That gamble paid off!

Eddie Vega - It sure did. Now just to get the big man back in the ring to beat him.

Madd Morales rolls back into the ring and watches as Lexi Vega begins to count Tarrasque out.

1…2…3…4…5…6…7…Tarrasque rolls back into the ring.

Madd Morales runs across the ring, welcoming Tarrasque back into the ring with a baseball slide dropkick to the face!

Madd jumps back to his feet and punt-kicks Tarrasque in the side of the face, sending blood and spittle flying across the mat. He walks across the ring away from Tarrasque and waits for Tarrasque to start getting up. Madd charges across the ring, aiming to inflict the Hidden Blade on Tarrasque, but the big man lunges faster than is to be expected and spears Madd nearly out of his boots!

Tarrasque gets right back up and grabs Madd by the legs. Madd yells as Tarrasque performs a giant swing, connecting with the corner like a baseball bat using Madd’s body! Tarrasque seizes Madd by the throat and lifts him high into the air before choke-slamming him to the mat and going for the cover. Lexi Vega gets into position to make the count.

….one

……two

……..thre-Madd Morales kicks out!

Tarrasque kneels up, unconcerned with the count. Instead, he reaches for Madd’s crotch, intent on finishing the match. Madd’s eyes go big as he hurriedly rolls away to his feet and launches at the ropes, coming back to impact Tarrasque with a springboard moonsault!

Ben Price - Tarrasque almost with the Rise of the Feminine Side there.

Eddie Vega - One day, he’s going to do this move and rip a dick off. Then, what will he do?

Ben Price - Win the match?

Eddie Vega - I guess so.

Madd Morales climbs to the top rope and looks down at Tarrasque to make sure that he’s still laid out. He leaps through the air with a corkscrew moonsault that he calls the Eighth Deadly Sin, but Tarrasque gets his knees up in the air to catch Madd!

Tarrasque dumps Madd to the side and stands up. He kicks Madd in the side to roll him over and perches onto his upper back, applying a camel clutch. Except he doesn’t apply the reverse chin lock. He places a large hand on the chin and a large hand on the forehead.

Before Tarrasque can viciously crank the neck, Madd recognizes the danger and taps out to Lexi Vega. Tarrasque drops the man, his move called the Paralyzing Factor unfulfilled.

Ben Price - Good thing that Madd tapped or else his neck might have been broken.

Eddie Vega - Is no one concerned that this is a career- and possibly life-ending finishing move?

Ben Price - It didn’t happen. It’s okay.

Eddie Vega - I don’t think so. Tarrasque targets one head or the other and it’s just not right.

Eric Wilson - Winner of the match via submission…Tarrasque!

Tarrasque celebrates in the ring while looking around the ring for where Vespertine is. Madd Morales heads to the back in defeat.

Ben Price - Well, I mean Madd Morales fought well, but just couldn’t do it.

Eddie Vega - He prolly should have took notes on how Greg Salazar defeated Tarrasque.

Ben Price - True. True.

Eddie Vega - Well, Madd will adapt. I’m sure he’ll come back stronger from this.

Ben Price - After these messages, Kara Reinhardt is going to take on the Eternal Grove in the form of Mick Brandon.

Eddie Vega - Lamb led to the slaughter.

Ben Price - Yeah, pretty much.

Eddie Vega - This is gunna be good.

Confrontations

The camera pans across, seeing Viktor Kriegson tearing into the arena’s parking lot on his motorcycle, leaving skidmarks as he comes to a screeching stop. Quickly stepping off his bike, Viktor storms into the arena, his flame-filled glare enough to kill any poor fool unfortunate enough to enter its sights.

One such unfortunate soul is found rather quickly, as Viktor storms up to a member of the production team, his large hand wrapping around their collar.

Viktor - Where is he?

Staffer - W-where’s who?

Looming over the poor staffer, Viktor’s voice drops to a menacing whisper, his monstrous gaze boring into the staffer.

Viktor - You know exactly who. Mick Brandon. Where. Is. He?!

Stuttering and stammering, the staffer points towards an area further down the hall. Whirling around, Viktor moves quickly, leaving the staffer trembling as the camera struggles to keep up with him.

There he was, heading towards gorilla, mid-conversation with Karlie Nash. Seeing him up ahead, Viktor’s pace picked up further. Catching up with Mick, Viktor brushed past him, quickly turning around to step in Mick’s path.

Viktor - What the hell was that on Vanguard?

A nasty smirk crosses Mick’s face as he takes a step back, hands raising in the air as Karlie takes a step back, arms crossing as she keeps a watchful eye on the interaction.

Mick - Down, boy. Kronin had you beat, and you know it. A loss there would’ve made you look weak, and if you look weak, the Grove looks weak. If you’re looking for an apology, you won’t be getting one here. We can’t have the Grove losing momentum against our enemies now, can we? I had to step in for the Grove, to preserve our image. Surely, even the Hound can understand that?

Viktor’s nostrils flare as his jaw tenses, taking a step towards Mick, his hands clenching into fists.

Viktor - Image? Don’t talk to me about image. First, someone drugged Erickson before our match, and now this?! You’re lucky I chose loyalty to The Grove and didn’t help Kronin rip you limb from limb! I had him beaten, I would’ve won had you not decided you knew best! You’ve mistaken membership to the Grove as permission to meddle in my business…. You made me and the Grove look like shit by getting me DQ’d. You knew there’d be repercussions, Mick, and yet, you interfered anyway!

Mick’s face contorted, his lips pursing together tightly as he let out a derisive snort, causing Viktor’s face to redden in anger.

Mick - Let’s be real here, Vik. I am just as much a member of the Grove as you are. Sure, you were one of its founding members, but we’re both just that: members. If either of our loyalties is in question here, it’s yours. Do you really believe in what the Grove is trying to achieve here? With all of this bullshit about wanting independence, I can’t speak for everyone else, but I certainly question why you still wear our colours. If you truly want to act alone, I would be happy to don the mantle of the Grove’s Executioner. I’d suit it better than the pathetic excuse of a pup that holds it now.

Viktor falls silent for a moment, his face going blank, the rage in his piercing glare the only emotion visible on the Hound’s features. Viktor tilts his head sideways, letting the silence hang for a moment, before speaking, his gravelly baritone eerily soft.

Viktor - Why don’t we test that theory?

Suddenly, Viktor launches himself forward, slamming Mick against the wall as he unleashes a brutal barrage of body shots, ending it with a headbutt to the side of Mick’s head that sends his skull slamming against the wall behind him with a sickening crack.

Karlie’s quick to try and separate the two as Mick tries to fight back, the pair getting Viktor off balance enough to separate the two momentarily. Karlie just about manages to guide Viktor away, but only gets him about a foot away before Mick spits right in Viktor’s face, sending the Hound into an even deeper fury.

Breaking away from Karlie with a strong burst of speed, Viktor’s back on the offensive, tackling Mick to the ground as he begins to rain down punches against the Grove’s newest brawler, managing to get a few stiff blows past Mick’s defenses, the final one connecting flush with Mick’s eye just as Karlie, with the help of CWF’s security, manages to restrain Viktor and drag him back off towards the exit. Standing, Mick swears under his breath as his hand covers his eye as it begins to swell and darken. Looking to Viktor, Mick shouts after him as the Grove’s Hound is blocked off by a wall of security guards, fury written across his face.

Mick - I will not be intimidated by some self-aggrandising chihuahua with a fucking god complex. You’re the problem here, Kriegson, not me! You’ll be out of the Grove before you know it!

Viktor continues to struggle against the sea of security, the Hound barely forcing his body around enough to let out one last threat before his captors escort him out of the building.

Viktor - Your inclusion in the Grove was a mistake, Brandon. Interfere with one of my matches again, you’ll see exactly how brutal I can be! Watch your back!

Mick lets out a long sigh, nursing his eye as Karlie checks him over. Glancing back towards the exit as Viktor’s forced outside by security, Mick shakes his head, concentrating on whatever help Karlie’s able to give.

The Shadow Club has Arrived

The cameras return to ringside as Sunday Night Warzone continues. Suddenly, the arena lights begin flickering uncontrollably, sending the crowd into confusion. The giant video screen turns completely black, with an eerie whisper echoing throughout the building. A cold mist begins creeping from beneath the ring, slowly spreading throughout the arena floor. Raven screeches fill the air as dozens of black birds appear high above the audience, circling beneath the rafters.

Without warning, every light in the arena goes out!

Several seconds pass before a single dim spotlight illuminates an empty section of the upper balcony. Standing motionless in the darkness is “Satan's Whisper,” Shadow Enchanter, his face barely visible underneath his dark hood. The lights flicker again, and he disappears!

Another spotlight illuminates the opposite side of the arena, where Shadow Caller stands among the audience, his arms stretched outward as several ravens circle overhead. The lights flash off and on, and he too vanishes into the darkness!

A disturbing child's laughter suddenly screeches throughout the arena. The cameras swing toward the entranceway, where “The Marionette” Carol Doll sits in an antique wooden rocking chair, grasping a creepy, chipped Antique doll. She slowly raises her head, showing a disturbing smile underneath her pale, cracked-doll makeup. The lights flash once more, and both Carol and the rocking chair disappear! The arena falls silent. Then a deep, commanding voice echoes throughout the building.

“The White Shadow,” Samael Leviathan - "CONQUEST WRESTLING FEDERATION! For far too long, you have existed beneath the illusion that the darkness is something you can escape. You have celebrated your heroes, worshipped your champions, and convinced yourselves that the monsters exist only in your nightmares. Although tonight, on Sunday Night Warzone, your nightmares have finally found you!"

A dim blue light suddenly illuminates the highest section of the arena. Standing beneath it is the enormous figure of Samael Leviathan, dressed in a long black coat, his pale face partially concealed by shadows. A raven lands on the railing beside him as he slowly raises his arms. The lights go out again!

A thunderous crash echoes throughout the building, followed by the sound of hundreds of beating wings. The lights begin flashing rapidly, illuminating different sections of the arena. Shadow Enchanter appears near the announcers' table. Shadow Caller stands beside the barricade. Carol Doll is suddenly visible in the front row, smiling at the terrified spectators. -Then, in one final burst of light, all four figures vanish! The arena is plunged into complete darkness for several seconds before four dim crimson spotlights suddenly illuminate the center of the wrestling ring.

THE SHADOW CLUB IS STANDING INSIDE THE RING!

The crowd erupts in a mixture of boos, screams, and extreme disbelief. Ravens circle above the squared circle, their shadows passing across the ring as the arena remains almost completely dark. A thick layer of fog rolls across the ring while Samael Leviathan stands in the center, surrounded by Carol Doll, Shadow Enchanter, with Shadow Caller. Samael slowly raises a microphone to his lips.

Samael Leviathan - "Behold, Conquest Wrestling Federation! You are looking at something that your feeble minds cannot begin to comprehend. We are not another collection of wrestlers searching for fame, fortune, or meaningless applause. We are not here to entertain you, and we certainly are not here to beg for your acceptance. We are “The Shadow Club”! We are the darkness which exists between life and death, the taunting whispers which haunt your dreams, and the fear that consumes your soul when the lights go out!"

Samael pauses as the ravens continue circling above.

Samael Leviathan - "I am Samael Leviathan, known throughout the darkest areas of this world as “The White Shadow”! I have walked with champions, monsters, madmen, and those who believed themselves immortal. I have watched kingdoms rise and fall, and I have witnessed men destroy themselves in pursuit of power. And now I have brought my family, my disciples, and my darkness into Conquest Wrestling Federation!"

He turns toward Shadow Enchanter.

Samael Leviathan - "Standing beside me is a man whose words can poison the strongest minds. A creature who understands that real suffering begins long before the first physical contact is made. He is SATAN'S WHISPER... SHADOW ENCHANTER!"

Shadow Enchanter slowly removes his hood, showing a sinister grin.

“Satan's Whisper” Shadow Enchanter - "Listen carefully, Conquest. When you hear the voice of Satan whispering in the darkness, it will already be too late. I don't need to shout to make a man afraid. I only need to softly whisper his darkest fears until he begins to believe them. And when that moment comes, his destruction will be inevitable."

The lights flicker as Shadow Enchanter lowers his head, disappearing partially back to the shadows. -Samael turns toward Shadow Caller.

Samael Leviathan - "And here stands Shadow Caller, the one who summons the forgotten, the lost, and the damned! A man who walks where others fear to tread. He does not seek your respect. He does not require you to understand. His purpose is simple - to remind every living soul that the darkness is always waiting!"

Shadow Caller steps forward, slowly raising both arms as a raven swoops low across the ring.

Shadow Caller - "You can lock your doors, close your eyes, and pray for daylight. But as the shadows call your name, there is nowhere left to hide. Conquest Wrestling Federation, we've heard your cries. Now you'll hear ours!"

A taunting giggle interrupts him. -Carol Doll sits cross-legged in the corner of the ring, holding her broken Antique doll. She rocks slowly back and forth, mumbling softly to herself. Samael looks down at her with an approving smile.

Samael Leviathan - "And finally, perhaps the most disturbing creation of them all. A young woman whose innocence was shattered long ago. A beautiful nightmare wrapped in the appearance of a broken Antique doll. She does not understand mercy, because mercy was never shown to her. She does not understand compassion, because compassion abandoned her when she needed it most. Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce THE MARIONETTE... CAROL DOLL!"

Carol slowly rises, holding her doll by its arm.

“The Marionette” Carol Doll - "Hello, Conquest! Oh, look at all the pretty faces! So many new toys, and nobody told me we were having a party!"

She begins laughing before suddenly becoming serious.

Carol Doll - "I wonder how many of you can dance. I love making people dance. Especially when I pull their little arms and legs in directions they don't want to go. Samael says I have to behave myself, but sometimes my toys break before I'm finished playing with them."

Carol tilts her head and smiles directly into the camera.

Carol Doll - "So, boys and girls, if you see me coming, don't run away. That just makes the game more exciting!"

She begins humming again as Samael steps forward.

Samael Leviathan - "Now listen carefully, every wrestler in that locker room, every champion who believes that gold around their waist makes them untouchable, and every authority figure who believes they control what happens inside this arena!"

His tone grows louder.

Samael Leviathan - "THE SHADOW CLUB DOES NOT ANSWER TO YOUR FEARS! WE CREATE THEM!"

The lights suddenly dim even further, leaving only a faint crimson flame surrounding the four members.

Samael Leviathan - "You may believe that Conquest Wrestling Federation belongs to those who built it, those who hold its championships, or those who command its audiences. But understand this - every kingdom casts a shadow. Every throne eventually crumbles. And every champion, no matter how powerful, must someday confront the possibility that someone far more dangerous is waiting in the darkness."

Samael slowly walks toward the ropes, looking out across the audience.

Samael Leviathan - "We have not come here to conquer your federation in a single evening. No, that would be far too simple. We intend to make our presence felt in every division, every championship contest, and every dark corner of Sunday Night Warzone. We will study your weaknesses, expose your fears, and remind you that the most dangerous enemies are often the ones you never see coming."

He points toward the entranceway.

Samael Leviathan - "To the champions of Conquest, I offer a warning. Hold your championship belts tightly. Idolize every victory. Celebrate every moment you stand above the competition. Because there will come a night when one of my disciples stands across the ring from you, and on that night, you will discover that gold offers no protection when it comes to shadows!"

Shadow Enchanter and “Shadow Caller” move to opposite corners of the ring while Carol Doll bends down beside Samael, gently stroking the hair of her antique doll.

Samael Leviathan - "And to those who believe they can stand against us, I welcome your challenge. Come forward. Show us your courage. Bring your strength, your arrogance, and your foolish confidence. We will be waiting."

A raven suddenly lands on the top turnbuckle, causing Carol to burst out into laughter.

Carol Doll - "Look, Samael! Even the birdies came to watch us play!"

Samael looks down at Carol before returning his attention to the camera.

Samael Leviathan - "Remember this night, Conquest Wrestling Federation. Remember the moment the lights began to flicker. Remember the ravens circling above your heads. Remember the feeling that something was watching you from the darkness."

He slowly raises both arms.

Samael Leviathan - "Because from this moment forward, whenever the lights go out on Monday Night Warzone, you will wonder whether we are standing behind you!"

A soft rumble of thunder echoes throughout the arena.

Samael Leviathan - "We are the whispers beneath your bed. We are the footsteps in your hallways. We are the ones watching from the darkness. And we are the nightmare that Conquest Wrestling Federation will NEVER awaken from!"

Samael raises his microphone one final time.

Samael Leviathan - "WE ARE THE SHADOW CLUB... AND THE DARKNESS HAS COME TO CONQUEST!"

Suddenly, the lights go completely out! -The sounds of ravens screeching with wings beating fill the arena as Carol Doll's childlike laughter echoes through the darkness. Several seconds later, the lights begin flashing rapidly before returning to their dim crimson flame.

THE RING IS EMPTY!

Samael Leviathan, Carol Doll, Shadow Enchanter, and “Shadow Caller” have disappeared without a trace. The only thing remaining in the center of the ring is Carol Doll's broken antique doll, sitting upright with a small black card resting against its chest. -The camera slowly zooms in, revealing four words written with blood-red lettering -

“THE SHADOWS ARE WATCHING.”

The camera takes one final look at the porcelain antique doll sitting alone in the ring. Its head slowly falls to one side as the arena lights flicker one final time.

The cameras fade to black.

Kara Reinhardt vs Mick Brandon

Eric Wilson - Ladies and Gentlemen, the next match is set for one fall!  Introducing first.  Hailing from the South Side of Chicago, Illinois!!  He stands 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs in at 247lbs.  He is a member of the Eternal Grove, Mick Brandon!!!

The iconic intro to "My War" by Black Flag plays, as the audience waits in anticipation. As Henry Rollins' rage-filled voice plays over the speakers, "Brutal" Mick Brandon makes his way out. There is anger on his face, as well as a black eye around the area of his right eye Rage accumulated over years of injustice.

Mick makes his way slowly to the ring, stopping every now and then to shake his hands at the crowd. He starts scanning the audience, as he keeps moving. He walks into the ring, and points to the crowd, and traces his thumb across his throat, motioning death to the audience.

He slowly takes off his jacket, ready for war.

Ben Price - Mick Brandon has allied himself with the Eternal Grove and this is his first real test since making his allegiance clear.  Gotta say though, that shiner is new.  Punishment from Viktor Kriegson, maybe?

Eddie Vega - I gotta wonder if Kara is right about him volunteering to be the sacrifice or the fall guy.  If it’s legit though, it should help his career.  It’s helped the other members.  As for the shiner?  Sounds right.  Viktor did not look happy that Mick’s interference cost him an important match against Kronin.

Eric Wilson - And introducing her opponent.  Hailing from Dresden, Germany.  She stands 6 feet tall and weighs in at 200lbs.  She is a member of Bad Company, Kara Reinhardt!!!

The lights dim and ‘Ich Tu Dir Weh’ by Rammstein plays over the PA as Kara makes her way out from the backstage area, pausing at the top of the entryway as she looks down at the ring. She makes her way to the ring with a slow, methodical pace and climbs into the ring, climbing between the ropes and making her way to her corner where she holds up a hand and then begins warming up, throwing a few warm up punches in her corner

Ben Price - Kara makes her way to the ring and.. I think she smirked when she noted Mick’s shiner.

Eddie Vega - Not only is she taller than Mick, but she’s utterly ruthless.  That black eye is a weakness for her to attack.  Telling you, the female terminator is in the house and
I would not want to be Mick Brandon right now.

In the ring, the two come toe to toe, Mick Brandon making a snide comment to Kara who wastes no time in punching Mick right in his injured eye, causing Eric Wilson to scramble out of the ring and Ashley Beaton to call for the bell

DING!!  DING!!

Ben Price - Well, Kara was in zero mood for shit talking it seems, she punched him right in the eye.

Eddie Vega - Mick Brandon clearly has no idea who he’s in the ring against

Kara stays on the attack and hammers Mick Brandon with three more right hands right to the injured eye.  She then grabs him and brings him to the mat with a belly to belly suplex and immediately takes a mounted position and begins hammering punches down on Mick as she goes ground and pound on him, multiple punches finding their way to Mick’s face.  After a time, Kara gets off and pulls Mick to his feet.  Mick tries a punch.  Kara shrugs off the first punch.  Mick tries another punch and Kara blocks the punch and transitions into a military style hip toss, bringing him to the mat, holding the arm and stomps on Mick’s shoulder.

Ben Price - Well, this match has started off as expected.. Mick ran his mouth and Kara punched him right in the face.  This match has been dominated by Kara here in the early going.

Eddie Vega - I said before the start of this match that I wouldn’t wanna be Mick Brandon right now and this match has thus far shown why.

Kara notices Mick Brandon trying to get to his feet and kicks him in the ribs, before pulling him to his feet and hitting a big right hand and brings Mick to the mat with another belly to belly suplex.  She gets to her feet and then pulls Mick to his feet as well.  She picks Mick up and plants him on the mat with a vertical suplex.  She moves to make a pinfall.

…One!

Kara then breaks the hold herself and punches Mick in the injured eye twice and then gets up and drags plays to the crowd, placing her hands on her hips and looking out over the crowd and nodding.

Ben Price - Well in her promo, she referred to Mick Brandon as an NPC, Kara seems to be backing up her claim as she has been firmly in control of this match since the get go.

Eddie Vega - CWF’s own terminator is really showing how ruthless she can be

Mick Brandon gets to his feet and comes up behind Kara and hits her with a clubbing forearm to the back.  He hits her again and a third time and tries for a German suplex but Kara blocks it.  Mick then tries to transition to a sleeper hold but Kara blocks that as well.  In frustration, Mick turns Kara to face him and boots her in the gut and rebounds off the ropes and charges at her but Kara catches him and hits her version of the Rock bottom.

Ben Price - Reich Breaker!  Mick had just started to build some offense and just like that Kara cuts it off!

Eddie Vega - Mick Brandon certainly is not making a good impression for joining the Grove.. He screws up and costs Viktor the match against Kronin and now Kara is beating him like he owes her money

Kara drops down and makes the cover, Ashley Beaton sliding in and beginning the count..

…One!

……Two!

Ben Price - Mick kicks out just before three!

Eddie Vega - And Kara does not seem happy!

Kara glares at the ref but says nothing at the moment, going back to punching Mick in the face, once more targeting the injured eye.  As the two fighters get to their feet, Mick’s eyes can be seen bleeding a bit and the swelling increases.  The two fighters stand toe to toe and trade punches, the crowd coming to their feet and cheering as the two fighters go punch for punch with each other until Mick Brandon boots Kara in the gut and plants her on the mat with a DDT.  Mick wastes no time and rebounds off the ropes and jumps into the air and hits Kara with an elbow drop

Ben Price - Mick Brandon is fighting back a little bit but that eye is starting to get bad, if this continues, the ref might have to stop the fight.

Eddie Vega - That’s a result that would likely have dire consequences for Mick!

Mick Brandon pulls Kara to her feet and hits her across the chest with a knife edged chop.  Kara retaliates with a punch to the injured eye.  Mick responds with an open hand slap on her chest, which is responded to with another punch to the injured eye, which is now clearly swelling to the point of forcing the eye closed.  Mick Brandon hits Kara with a boot to the gut and picks her up, dropping her rib first onto his knee, he then tries to pin Kara but she kicks out before a one count.

Ben Price - Wishful thinking from Mick Brandon there as he tries to pin Kara but she kicks out pretty quickly.

Eddie Vega - Pretty quickly?  Ashley Beaton didn’t even get a single count!

Mick Brandon pulls Kara to her feet and tries for a Northern Lights suplex but Kara hits him with a few punches to the gut and then picks him up at first as if she were going for a northern lights suplex but she lifts him up, in a vertical suplex hold, keeping the leg hooked as she walks to the middle of the ring and plants him with a brainbuster like move, immediately floating over for the cover, Ashley Beaton moving in for the count..

…One!

……Two!

………Three!

DING!!  DING!!

Eric Wilson - Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner, by pinfall, Kara Reinhardt!!

Ben Price - That was a new move we saw from Kara! And it did the job, after being announced as one of the combatants in the next Conquest title match, Kara resumes her path of destruction by tearing through the new Eternal Grove initiate Mick Brandon!

Eddie Vega - Man, this woman is just tearing through everyone at the moment.

Conjuring Darkness Black Like Coal

*Post Match*

The lights go off, and Kara Reinhardt is blindsided from behind by a figure in black robes, appearing almost like a priest of death.

Kara is hit with a big german suplex,, releasing it so her head hits the mat, flat, almost like a german suplex piledriver, laying her out in the middle of the ring. The figure then extends his hands out to Mick Brandon, to help him up. Slowly, he takes off his hood, and the figure is revealed to be Samael Drago, the Conquest Champion.

He turns his head towards Kara, and then brings out his Conquest title.

He grabs her face and drags it across the belt, as she is knocked unconscious in the corner.

The announcers and the audience remain shocked to see Drago for the first time after Civil Warfare.

He simply looks at her, and whispers something in her ears.

Then he sits down in the middle of the ring right next to her, smiling maliciously, as Mick Brandon watches on from the back. The now-iconic theme song Moonchild by Fields of the Nephilim plays, and the crowd rise to their feet, some hateful, some inspired, but all moved.

Apathy vs Greg Salazar

Eric Wilson - The following contest has been scheduled for one fall! Featuring first the challenger, hailing from Seattle, Washington…he is “the Paragon” Greg Salazar!

“Limits” by Cryptic Writings (authorized cover of Bad Omens) begins playing as Greg Salazar walks out from the back to the cheering of the crowd. He makes his way down to the ring, looking strong as he strides. He steps through the ropes and flexes a bit before leaning in his corner for the start of the match.

Ben Price - I heard that Greg wasn’t looking forward to this match.

Eddie Vega - It’s Apathy’s first match back since her daughter was taken. Would you want to be against her?

Ben Price - Well, no.

Eddie Vega - That’s what I thought. Momma bear is prolly really mad.

Eric Wilson - And his opponent, hailing from Alsace-Lorraine, France…she is Elizabeth Devereaux-O’Rourke!

The sound of a vintage picture reel began to click and pop, the screen illuminating up counting down like a picture show. The pops, scratches, nicks and debris covered the screen, the numbers counting down, 5...4....3....2....1....as the reel continued, the faint familiar sound of a text message being composed. The tell tale sound of clicks followed by the sound of a message received. The demonic, distorted voice of SKYND creeps through "You're gonna have to prove me wrong". On the screen, a barrage of action shots, in still form from Apathy's career, centered and fixated, like an old film would. As the arena went down, red and white lights bathing the fans in a sea of color, Elizabeth rises from beneath the stage, head lowered, arms outstretched. A mixed chorus of boos, jeers and cheers pelted at her. She gradually raises her head, soaking in the animosity and fervent support. Inhaling it like a drug

##I love you, now die

I love you, now die

I love you, now die

I love you, now##

As the heavy bass kicks in and the words of the chorus reverberate through the arena, she snaps her head up, a cocky self-assured smirk creeping across her lips as she saunters her way to the ring casually engaging towards the fans either encouraging more of their venomous verbal harassment or acknowledging the respect and adoration from her legions and devotees, basking in the glow

##Go, in your truck and drive in a parking lot

Do it early, do it now

Do it early, do it now

Go, just park and sit there in your car

It will take twenty minutes

It will take twenty minutes##

##Go, in your truck and drive in a parking lot

Do it early, do it now

Do it early, do it now

Go, just park and sit there in your car

It will take twenty minutes

It will take twenty minutes##

As the perverse and twisted sound of SKYND's auto tuned verbal melody pulsates through the speakers, Elizabeth stops at the base of the walkway, grinning from ear to ear as she playfully mouths the words, "It will take 20 minutes", holding up two fingers and flashing them forwards and backwards as she says "20 minutes", then rushes the apron, hopping up and catapulting herself over the top rope, rolling through to the far side of the ring and climbing the turnbuckle and extending her arms, bowing aristocratically and smugly as her coup de grace.

Ben Price - I have heard that Apathy has been to therapy to help cope with a near total shutdown following the loss of her daughter.

Eddie Vega - She had to process the loss, but as soon as she does…heads will roll.

Ben Price - I’m afraid and excited at the same time.

Eddie Vega - That is both gross and interesting.

As the bell sounds to start the match, Greg Salazar walks across the ring to Elizabeth and sticks out his hand. She regards him coolly, and for a moment it seems like she is going to punch him, but then she takes his hand.

Greg Salazar - May the best person win.

Elizabeth Devereaux-O’Rourke - I will, thanks.

Elizabeth releases Greg and kicks him in the midsection with a double-handed uppercut to the jaw as Greg goes to double over, sending him to the mat! She follows up with a stomp to the chest, but Greg rolls away and back to his feet.

Greg locks up with Elizabeth, pressing her back toward the ring ropes before he breaks the lockup and whips her to the opposite side of the ring. On the rebound, Greg rushes at her and sends her to the mat with a shoulder charge! Elizabeth rolls back to her feet in an instant and throws a punch at Greg, who blocks it and brings Elizabeth down again with a short-arm clothesline!

Greg watches as Elizabeth gets back to her feet and hits a ridge hand strike to the side of the head before a spear hand strike to the midsection to knock the wind from her sails. Elizabeth doubles over and falls into Greg’s arms, but she reaches down and pulls the legs out from under Greg so that he lands on his back. She holds both ankles and stomps Greg in the gut before hitting a spinning toe hold. She repeats the motion on the same leg before locking in a figure-four leg lock! Referee Roxy Sinclair goes to check to see if Greg will submit to the pain, but he refuses.

Roxy squats down so that she can put Greg’s head on her lap and runs her fingers through his hair.

Roxy Sinclair - If it hurts, you should give up. No one is going to hold it against you.

Greg blinks at her in confusion and reaches out to grab the ropes. Roxy nods and lets Greg’s head down so she can get up and walk over to Elizabeth’s head.

Roxy Sinclair - Okay, honey, he’s got the ropes. You need to break the hold now.

Elizabeth breaks the hold and gets back to her feet. She watches as Greg gets back to his feet and walks over to wallop him. However, as she passes the referee…Roxy smacks her ass.

Roxy Sinclair - Oooh, that sounded so good!

Elizabeth opens her mouth to protest, but then turns back to Greg. She grabs him and brings him over with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex!

Ben Price - So, Roxy is really getting involved there, isn’t she?

Eddie Vega - I don’t know if now is the best time to be doing that. Is she showing favoritism to Elizabeth or what?

Ben Price - I don’t rightly know?

Eddie Vega - I mean, it sure seems like it.

Greg gets back up, but is grabbed by Elizabeth again. She gets him up into a suplex, but transitions it into a pumphandle slam. She goes for the cover as Roxy gets into position.

….one

……two

……..th-Greg kicks out!

Elizabeth kneels up, and Roxy is sure to let her know that it was only a two-count. Elizabeth gets to her feet and watches as Greg gets up before grabbing him and whipping him toward the ropes. ON the rebound, Elizabeth goes for a clothesline, but Greg ducks under the outstretched arm, heading toward the ropes on the opposite side. On the next meeting in the center of the ring, Greg hits a jumping kick that knocks Elizabeth down. With Elizabeth getting right back up, Greg catches her before she can rise from a seated position, applying a reverse chin lock with his knee pressed firmly into her back. Roxy checks to see if Elizabeth will submit, but she refuses.

Roxy Sinclair - You can hold out, Elizabeth. You’re a strong woman, but if you have to submit…no one will hold it against you.

Ben Price - What is she thinking?

Eddie Vega - I have no clue.

It’s when Roxy reaches out and cops a feel on Elizabeth that Greg releases the hold and looks at Roxy like she’s insane.

Greg Salazar - What are you doing? We’re wrestling here!

Roxy Sinclair - Just making sure it wasn’t a chokehold, dear.

Greg shakes his head and reaches down to pull Elizabeth up, but is instead pulled down into a jawbreaker! Greg snaps back onto the mat as Elizabeth gets to her feet and looks around at Roxy with a disgusted face before advancing on Greg.

Greg starts to get back up when Elizabeth catches him on his knees and punches him a few times before running to the ropes. On the rebound, she charges toward Greg and leaps through the last few feet to kick him in the face in a move that she calls Guillotine’s Kiss! Blood and spittle go flying across the mat!

Ben Price - What an impact!

Eddie Vega - Things are defo turning toward Elizabeth’s favor.

Elizabeth pulls Greg up and suplexes him into the corner, where he impacts the corner and finds himself in a seated position. Elizabeth runs across the ring and runs back to impact Greg with a Bronco Buster! She backrolls away from the corner after hitting her move and watches as Greg uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet.

She grabs him and goes for the lungblower, but Greg holds on to her and does not fall. Instead, he flings her over his shoulder in a show of supreme strength, sending Elizabeth headfirst into the corner! Elizabeth uses the ropes to help her up, but Greg grabs her by the back of the head and slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle several times before pulling her away and bringing her down with a running bulldog. He goes for the cover, Roxy getting into position to make the count.

….one

……two

……..thre-Elizabeth kicks out!

Greg kneels up and has two fingers flashed in his face by Roxy.

Roxy Sinclair - Only a two-count, dear. You’ll get her next time for sure!
Ben Price - Now who’s side is she on?

Eddie Vega - I don’t know. She’s flipped more times than a light switch!

Greg gets Elizabeth picked up and hits a Gory Special Facebuster! He rolls her over for another cover!

….one

……two

……..three! NO! Elizabeth gets a shoulder up!

Greg kneels up, looking unhappy. Roxy is quick to his side and showing him two fingers to represent that it was only a two-count.

Roxy Sinclair - It’s okay, it’s okay. You got a two-count! Try again!

She holds onto Greg’s shoulder and darts in to kiss him on the lips. Greg shoves Roxy away on instinct. Roxy falls onto her butt and looks pissed as she gets back to her feet.

Roxy Sinclair - Why I never!

Greg points to his ring on his left hand.

Greg Salazar - I’m happily married! Stop it!

Roxy just shrugs with a wide smile.

Roxy Sinclair - Just ink on paper, babe. I’ve had husbands and wives before…they don’t last.

Greg shakes his head, ready to argue more, but he is pulled into a schoolboy cradle! Roxy dives down to the mat for the cover.

….one

……two

……..three! NO! Greg kicks out!

Ben Price - I kind of feel sorry for Sinclair.

Eddie Vega - I wouldn’t mind holding some things against her.

Ben Price - And she might be accepting of that.

Eddie Vega - Yeah, I know.

Elizabeth gets back to her feet and greets the rising Greg with a punch to the side of the head. Greg responds with a spear strike to the midsection that doubles Elizabeth over. He hits a flipping facebuster and goes for the pinfall. Roxy takes a moment before responding to make the pinfall count.

….one

……tw-Elizabeth kicks out!

Ben Price - Was that Roxy not doing her job right because she was spurned by Greg?

Eddie Vega - Sure seems like it. I mean she did do it, but the wait allowed Elizabeth to kick out sooner.

Greg kneels up and stares daggers at Roxy, who just smiles sweetly.

Roxy Sinclair - It was just a one count, big boy.

Greg sighs and pulls Elizabeth to her feet.  He grabs her by the arm and pulls her in to go for the Iron Fist, but Elizabeth ducks under the attempt and grabs Greg around the middle. She lifts him up so that he’s over her shoulder, spins around, and drops so that his throat is dropped across the top rope!

She grabs him as he rises up and whips him into the ropes, following. She hits a clothesline at the ropes, sending Greg over the top rope to the floor. Elizabeth rolls out of the ring to follow and grabs Greg as he attempts to get back up so that she can DDT him onto the concrete floor! She rolls back into the ring as Roxy begins to count Greg out.

1…2…3…4…5…6…Greg rolls back into the ring.

Ben Price - Greg starting to show signs of wear and tear in this match.

Eddie Vega - Yeah, but don’t pretend that Elizabeth is a spring chicken here. She’s also getting tired.

Elizabeth greets the rising Greg by grabbing him and lifting him up high and upside down so that she can hit the Dynast Queen Driver! Roxy Sinclair, you know, the ref for this match, jumps up and down and claps at the move. Elizabeth glances at her with a frown, but then runs across the ring as Greg slowly gets up. She returns from the rebound with a Superman punch to the jaw that staggers Greg before getting him up on her shoulders and spins before dropping him onto his face to complete the Death Before Dishonor finishing move! She goes for the cover, Roxy getting into position to make the count.

….one

……two

……..three!

Eric Wilson - Winner of the match by pinfall…Elizabeth Devereaux-O’Rourke!

Ben Price - We thought that Apathy might be winning this match, but dang.

Eddie Vega - Well, it wasn’t all Elizabeth offensive.

Ben Price - Why are you not using the ring name? I noticed this all throughout the match.

Eddie Vega - Apathy is dead, long live Elizabeth!

Elizabeth Devereaux-O’Rourke celebrates her win in the ring for a moment before she turns to Greg Salazar, who is struggling to get back up. She thinks for a moment and then offers her hand to the man, helping him up and shaking his hand. She gets the microphone from Eric Wilson and looks down the aisle to the back.

Elizabeth Devereaux-O’Rourke - Well, Drago? Come out! You attacked Kara from behind, think you can claim me too? Come on out! Bring my daughter back to me!

When there is no response, Greg puts a hand on her shoulder to convey his care. Elizabeth nods and the two head to the back.

Ben Price - That was something…could Bad Company and Dynasty Era become allies?

Eddie Vega - Who knows. They have a common foe in the form of the Eternal Grove so we will see.

Ben Price - Speaking of which, after these messages, we will get to Karlie Nash as she takes on Akame McClancy for the CWF Skirmish championship!

Eddie Vega - And it’s a submission match at that. Something that plays into Karlie’s strengths since she is a pure wrestler.

Ben Price - Should be a great match since Akame is no slouch when it comes to submission moves.

Eddie Vega - Right? I still expect Eternal Grove to come out to win the day.

Conquering Akame

Backstage at the Capital One arena the camera finds Karlie along with Tracy and her always intimidating bodyguard Hilda.

Karlie Nash - Tonight here in Washington DC those who have chosen to foolishly stand against the Eternal Grove, get another example of why challenging the Eternal Grove has its consequences

Karlie smiles.

Karlie Nash - Akame, member of the Wild Hunt, Skirmish champion, someone who tonight I finally conquer. Akame, you have chosen a battle you can’t win, a war you can’t win, The grove we are united, we are strong, your willingness to help try and take us down and rescue Annika is admiral, it really is, and I should applaud your effort right.

Karlie's expression turned to almost joy.

Karlie Nash - You see Akame, I don’t, the Grove is always ten steps ahead, I'm no exception.

The crowd reacts as the camera turns standing by Karlie’s side is Vespertine.

Karlie Nash - I bet you all still thought she was still locked up in DC right. Well here’s the thing about that her bail was paid by me and tonight she serves two roles one advisory and no as extra backup just in case you try to tilt the odds in your favour, tonight Akame your reign as Skirmish Champion comes to its premature end, tonight you will know that Nash-ural selection has passed by by.

Vespertine gives a devilish smirk and wave to the camera.

Karlie Nash vs Akame McClancy for the Skirmish title Submission Match

Eric Wilson - The following matchup is a Submissions match for the Skirmish Championship. It will be fought under the Skirmish Division rules, meaning this will have a 15 minute time limit. Introducing a special guest commentator.  She is a member of the Upstarts, Abigail Dresden!!

‘Awen’ by Eluveitie plays over the PA and the crowd comes to their feet cheering as Abigail makes her way out from the backstage area and makes her way to the commentary desk, putting on a headset and settling in

Ben Price - And we’re being joined at the commentary desk by former Conquest champion, and current member of the Upstarts, Abigail Dresden!

Abigail Dresden - Thanks for the welcome, Ben.

Eddie Vega - Hey!  Why don’t you wrestle with CWF programming?

Abigail Dresden - Two things.  One, I took part in the Skirmish title tournament.  Two, if I’m not booked, there isn’t much I can do. Maybe I’m out there trying to get booked, as well as out here for Akame, my best friend, tag team partner and stablemate.

Ben Price - Well you’re on camera, and on audio so you’ll get paid in some way.

Eric Wilson - Introducing first… Representing the Eternal Grove.  She hails from Grand Marais Minnesota, being accompanied to the ring by her tag team partner, Vespertine. She weighs in at  one hundred and seventy two-pounds, She is “The Premier Athlete” … KARLIE NASH!

“Knuckle Up” by the Snowgoons starts to play through the Arena’s PA System. Karlie Nash and Vespertine  step out onto the stage and hesitate for a moment. After the crowd gets a moment to react with their boos they start to walk again.

Karlie walks to the ring ignoring the crowd, she climbs the ropes from the outside, and gives a thumbs down to the fans, then lowers her hood and smirks at the crowd, she steps down from the ropes inside the ring, removes her hoodie and stretches in the corner. Vespertine enters the ring and works on hyping Karlie up, and yelling at some of the fans at ringside.

Ben Price - And here comes Karlie Nash.  And Vespertine.  You are quite familiar with both of these two fighters.  What’s your take on them?

Abigail Dresden - Karlie has some skill.  I mean she could do with learning more about where ‘American style’ wrestling actually comes from but she can bring it. I know first hand. She’s got a win over Akame and me in a tag team match, but her partner in that match wasn’t Vespertine. Now,  Vespertine?  I’ve never been impressed with her.  She’s good at running her mouth.  She’s good at manipulating people, but one on one, blow for blow?  She isn’t half as good as she thinks she is.

Vespertine hears that and wanders over, yelling at Abby who stands up.

Abigail Dresden - Go ahead.  Attack a commentator.  I dare you.  You can walk your hot topic reject arse right back to jail!

Vespertine gives Abby the finger but backs off

Vespertine - You’re one to talk. You didn’t go goth until you hooked up with a gothic side team.

Eddie Vega - Hot topic reject ass.. That was a good one.

Abigail Dresden - Well, my mom is known to be quite the trash talker.  Just trying to carry on the tradition.

Eric Wilson - And the defending Skirmish Champion… representing the Upstarts, she hails from Scottsdale, Arizona. She is also one half of the 4WW Dyad Champions, and the 4WW North American Champion. Coming in at 5’ 5” and 135 lbs, she is “RECKLESS” AKAME MCLCANCY!

“Reckless” by Lacuna Coil starts to play. Akame steps out onto the stage. She’s got her two extra belts over her shoulders, and is wearing the Skirmish Championship. She walks down to the ring, high fiving those she can without dropping anything. Before climbing up to the apron, she leaves her two extra titles on the announcers’ table in front of Abigail Dresden.

She then walks up the stairs, and flips into the ring with a slingshot. She climbs up a ring corner, playing up to the crowd as she pulls off the Skirmish championship and holds it up.

After a moment she hops down and hands the belt to the referee, and then walks over to almost get into Nash’s face. She holds up a middle finger to Nash, while yelling for Jones to get Vespertine out of the ring.

Ben Price - And some un-sportsmanlike gestures from the Skirmish Champion.

Abigail Dresden - But some very McClancy gestures. Her cousin made a career out of using that on every opponent, then beating their heads in.  But she’s just returning the favor from Vespertine earlier.

Eddie Vega - And you are not wrong.

Eric Wilson - Your referee for this match, Scott Jones!

Jones hands the title belt to the ring attendant, and then calls both to the middle of the ring. He explains some things to them, and does a cursory check for illegal objects.  Once he’s ready he then calls for the bell.

Nash walks towards McClancy. The two get into each other’s face, as much as they can with the size difference. McClancy is the first one to break, pushing Nash back. Nash pushes back. McClancy lets herself fall back to the ropes, and comes off with a forearm to Nash’s chest. Nash only goes two steps back and then hits McClancy with a forearm of her own that hits right to the face. McClancy drops down to the mat. Nash immediately grabs McClancy’s legs and starts to setup for a figure four leglock.

Ben Price - Karlie Nash already moving for a submission hold. A reminder for the Audience at home, that is the only way to win this match up.

Eddie Vega - And Karlie Nash is a submissions specialist.

Abigail Dresden - She is? Why is her finisher a Pile Driver then?

Ben Price - She also has the Nash-Ural Selection.

Abigail Dresden - She ever won a match with it? Or just drop people on their head?

Eddie Vega - Or hit them with a headbutt.

Abigail Dresden - Yeah, yeah.

McClancy tries to scramble out of the hold before Nash can get it locked in. She tries to use her boot on Nash’s backside to push her off, but she just doesn’t seem to be able to get that. Finally she pushes off, and then rolls, getting out of the hold by sheer luck and doing something out of the ordinary.

Ben Price - Not yet. No submissions this early.

McClancy starts to get up, but Karlie nash grabs one foot, and slips it between her legs and then falls onto her to lock in a chin lock as well to finish setting up an STF!

Eddie Vega - Well, not true. Just not a figure four leg lock, instead a Step… Toe… and STF!

Abigail Dresden - Stepover Toehold Facelock, it’s not hard Eddie.

Jones is right on the job, asking McClancy is she gives up. McClancy can’t be heard to well through the facelock, nor shake her head that well but Jones signals that she’s not giving up yet to the time keeper.

Ben Price - This match could go very quickly if this McClancy can’t get out of this hold. She’s got a woman 40 lbs bigger than her on her back right now.

Abigail Dresden - Don’t worry. She trains with a woman who is actually around the same size, if not a little bigger.

Eddie Vega - Who?

Abigail Dresden - Me, you idiot. Me… we’re tag team partners.

Eddie Vega - So you are admitting to wrestling with her on a regular basis?

Dresden can be seen on the picture in picture facepalming before she answers.

Abigari Dresden - Yes, yes I am. But you know we’re kinda wrestlers. And we wrestled in the match where she won that title belt. So yeah. Don’t you dare go further on that.

Eddie Vega appears to put his finger up and open his mouth like he was going to ask something else, but he decides otherwise.

McClancy starts to fight, trying to use her arms in a forearm claw, Nash appears to struggle to hold her in place.

Abigail Dresden - Come on… come on.

McClancy reaches out and tries to grab the bottom rope, but Vespertine is right there and pulls the rope out of the way. Jones gets up and yells at Vespertine to let it go. He then turns and calls for the hold to be broken.

Eddie Vega - What is he doing?

Ben Price - He saw Vespertine pull the rope. She didn’t touch McClancy, but she still go involved so he’s calling it like she’d made it to the ropes.

Eddie Vega- He can’t do that!

Abigail Dresden - Sure he can, he’s the referee. And probably the best one of the bunch, maybe second best. I like Ashley Beaton as well.

Nash argues with him, while holding on. So Jones starts to count.

1…

2…

3…

4…

Nash finally, realizing he was serious, lets the hold go.

Eddie Vega - Still not a cool call there. McClancy never actually grabbed the ropes.

Ben Price - Referee’s call is final in the CWF. Vespertine grabbed the rope and pulled it out of the way and he saw it.

Eddie Vega - Still…

Abigail Dresden - Shut up, Edward.

McClancy gets to the ropes and pulls herself up, and gently steps onto the leg that was in the hold to ensure it’s still good. Nash comes over and grabs her, pushing into the ropes. She then whips McClancy to the other side. McClancy tries to hit a crossbody on the rebound, but gets caught and then walks around to where she’s staring at where Dresden is on commentary and drops McClancy across her knee with a rib breaker. She stands again, and hits another one, then a back breaker.

Ben Price - They’re trying to goad you.

Abigail Dresden - Of course they are. But right now they’re just hot wind.

Nash gets back to a standing position and then tosses McClancy over her body with a fallaway slam. She floats over with it, comes up to her feet, and then tries to get situated for an Indian Deathlock, but as she goes for the hook, McClancy reaches up and palms her right to the chin, snapping her head back.

McClancy then kips up to her feet, and runs to the ropes. She hits a second rope springboard, comes off and catches Nash in a flying armdrag. When she lands, she gets back to her feet quickly. When Nash gets to her knees to get back up, McClancy hits a low dropkick right to the top of her head. She then grabs one of Nash’s arms with her legs, and then the other with her legs and the other across her back with her arm to apply a Rings of Saturn like submission.

Ben Price - Not something we’ve seen in the McClancy repertoire before, but that’s a move known as a Brutalizer.

Abigail Dresden - I assure you, you’ve not seen all the moves that Akame knows… for use in the ring. This is a submissions match, and her father was known for being something of a submissions specialist. Just like mine.

McClancy tries to get the hold cinched in, but Nash manages to get free of the hold. Both scramble to their feet. Nash kicks McClancy in the midsection and then tries to take her over with a gutwrench suplex. She holds on, rolls with her smaller opponent. She comes up and tries for another one, but McClancy grabs her thigh. When both land, McClancy pops out of the waist hold, and scrambles to try to grab Nash’s leg and pull it over her head.

Nash kicks her off and scrambles to the corner on the mat, and then uses the ropes to come up to her feet.

Eddie Vega - McClancy had a counter there, and tried to lock in her signature submission move, but Karlie Nash said no way, and got out of there.

Abigail Dresden - Hey, I’ll admit it. Nash is a good wrestler. Its the cheating and better than thou attitude that makes us not like her as a person. She’s good looking, talented. She doesn’t need the Eternal Grove… they need her.

Vespertine comes over to the corner that Nash is in, and climbs up to the corner. She leans in to whisper something into Nash’s ear. Nash nods, Vespertine hops down and then Nash bursts out of the corner. McClancy drops into a splits to avoid the huge clothesline that has rocked many a wrestler.

Nash stops before the ropes, and turns. As McClancy comes back up to her feet, Nash grabs her in a rear waist lock. She takes her over with a very high angled German suplex. She keeps the waistlock in place, and pulls McClancy back up to her feet. She brings her arms up and grabs McClancy into a cobra clutch sleeper.

Eddie Vega - Here it comes! Cobra Clutch…  Into my bank account it can go!

Abigail Dresden - What?

Ben Price - He bets on the matches on a regular basis. Usually long shot bets.

McClancy doesn’t flail about like most people would. She slips the fingers of her free hand up between her throat and the other arm held in the move. Nash tries to thrash her about to cinch the hold in more. Jones gets there, and calls for her to allow him to check it.

Nash stops the thrashing, and lets Jones get his hand up to check it to make sure it’s not a choke.

He does and signals that it’s good. So he starts to ask McClancy if she gives up.

Eddie Vega - First really good call Jones has done in this match.

Abigail Dresden - Hey, why I like him. He makes good calls. I guess that’s why he’s the head referee after Baxter retired.

Ben Price - What ever happened to Baxter?

Nash again starts to thrash back and forth with the hold, trying to disorient her opponent and cinch the hold in tighter, going for that submission win. McClancy seems to be trying to fight it, but eventually he free hand seems to fall.

Jones steps in and pulls it up, then drops it. It falls.

Ben Price - It might be over!

He lifts her hand again, and it falls one more time.

Eddie Vega - YES! One more, one more and it’s over!

Jones pulls McClancy’s arm up once again, and lets it go.. It stays up!

Abigail Dresden - There you go!

Nash tries to re-cinch the clutch in, but McClancy takes a step back, putting a leg behind her and Nash, then bows forward hard, taking Nash over with a hard Judo throw. McClancy rolls with it and comes to rest on her back. Nash is the first to get to their feet. She grabs McClancy and pulls her up to her feet. A kick to the midsection, and she pulls her in for a suplex.

Before she can take her over, McClancy hooks her leg, blocking the pickup. When Nash tries to reset, McClancy delivers a couple of shots to her chest with her fist, and then hooks her, and takes her over in her own snap suplex.

Ben Price - 40 lbs heavier, but Akame McClancy just took Karlie Nash over with a snap!

Abigail Dresden - The guys do it with that type of weight difference on a regular basis… why is it a big thing a woman just did that?

McClancy is the first to her feet this time. She heads for the ropes, climbs through and then gets setup for a slingshot. She tries to launch herself into the ring, at Nash, But Verspertine slips over and almost catches her foot. McClancy instead points at Vespertine and warns her. Then she calls over to Jones.

Jones comes over and starts to warn Vespertine. Nash gets there and grabs McClancy, and pulls her over the ropes  and slams her down hard to the mat. She then starts to stomp on the leg she’d had in the STF earlier.

Ben Price - Well Vespertine didn’t touch the Reckless one, but still ended up distracting both her and the referee for a moment.

Nash stomps a few more times, while Vespertine continues to argue with the referee. Nash stops after a couple, and then pulls McClancy back up to her feet. She whips McClancy to the ropes and then heads to the other side herself. She charges in, looking to be trying for her Unsportsmanlike Conduct clothesline, but McClancy launches herself with a second rope springboard into a reverse superwoman elbow that catches Nash in the chest, and staggers her.

Abigail Dresden - That’s it, babe! Hit her hard, then lock her down!

Ben Price - Babe?

Eddie Vega - Babe?

Abigail Dresden - Girl talk boys… girl talk.

Eddie Vega - Well, might be a good move. But it’s not like Akame McClancy has a great record with holding titles.

Abigaril Dresden - She held the FWA Television Championship for I think 5 defenses? Was just the Valor title she lost on the first defense.

Eddie Vega - I don’t watch other federations stuff. And who cares about their TV title?

Abigail Dresden - I do. I’m the current champion.

Eddie Vega - Oh.

McClancy hits the ropes in a run, and comes right at Nash. She goes for her super duper kick, but Nash grabs her leg on the attempt.

Eddie Vega - Well the super duper kick didn’t land. It’s so close!

Ben Price - Nice block by the Premier Athlete here.

Nash shakes her head no, and says something to McClancy in the ring. Nash takes a step back, pulling her leg with her, causing McClancy to hop on that one leg twice before she suddenly jumps up and lands a jumping back kick with her other leg right to Nash’s chin. Nash takes a few more steps back, holding her chin.

McClancy rolls with the landing, and hits the ropes again. She bounces off and Nash breaks into a run. Nash feints putting her head down, like she’s going for a spear, but when McClancy tries to leapfrog over her, Nash comes up and catches her for a powerbomb type setup.

Abigail Dresden - YES! Just like we practiced!

Ben Price - Nice jumping backkick, hit right on the mark.

Before Nash can drop her down, McClancy locks her legs around Nash’s shoulder and neck. Nash finishes the powerbomb. IT almost breaks McClancy’s hold on her head. Nash pulls her up again and drops down again. She hesitates, and if this were a match that could be won by pinfall, she’d have one to get a count on.

Ben Price - If this was a regular match, that could be it.

Abigail Dresden - Uhm, except that Akame could kick out, you know. She’s still locked on and holding on to that. You’e seen her guillotine leg lock Kara Reinhardt last season. She gets that locked in, it’s over.

Eddie Vega - Well, this is a Skirmish rules match, so running out of time here.

Nash pulls McClancy up again, and goes to drop her down, but this time McClancy falls back early, causing the move to add some rotation. Nash goes over, to her back, her arm trapped. McClancy quickly tries to lock in a crucifix armbar, trying for the submission win.

Ben Price - And a counter that takes Karlie Nash over into a Crucifix Armbar.

Eddie Vega - Come on Karlie, you can get to the ropes or something!

Abigail Dresden - Why are you egging Nash on?

Eddie Vega - Only due to my potential monetary gain, Ms. Dresden.  I’ve got 2 g’s riding on Nash winning.

Jones asks Nash if she gives up, and she shakes her head and screams out her answer.

Karlie Nash - NO!

Nash starts to struggle to pull herself towards the ropes. She gets a few inches at first, then a foot. Then further. Jones asks her again and she again screams out.

Karlie Nash - NO!

McClancy tries to wrench back on the hold, but Nash scoots them both over towards the ropes, McClancy just being pulled along for the ride. Finally Nash gets close enough that Vespertine climbs part way into the ring, and grabs Nash’s arm. She pulls her hard, getting her hand to the ropes.

Ben Price - And the assist from Vespertine!

Abigail Dresden - Fucking, bitch…

A picture in picture shows the announces, as Abby Dresden stands up and starts to try to get Jones’ attention, pointing at Vespertine.

Jones in the ring sees that Nash has the ropes and starts a five count to break the hold.

1…

McClancy keeps the hold locked in.

2…

3…

4…

At the last second, McClancy releases the hold and rolls away from Nash.

Ben Price - And the hold gets broken. But you know that had to do some damage to the Premier Athlete’s bicep and shoulder.

Nash rolls out fo the ring and starts to test her shoulder and shake it out.

Eric Wilson - 12 minutes have expired, 3 minutes remain in this match up.

McClancy kips up to her feet and scopes out where Karlie Nash is. She sees her outside the ring and runs to the other side, bouncing off the ropes. When she hits the side that Nash is on, she looks like she’s going to try for a topé suicida. Vespertine pushes Karlie Nash out of the way, but McClancy grabs the ropes and keeps herself from sailing to the floor.

Abigail Dresden - You know, done with this.

Dresden’s headset hits the table as the picture in picture shows her throwing it down and then marching in the direction of where Nash and Vespertine are. Nash gets between her and Vespertine, pointing at her chin for Dresden to throw a punch.

Ben Price - This isn’t the Valor title, Karlie. She hits you, you’d win but you’d not get the title.

Eddie Vega -  A win would keep her in contention, though. And I’d still get paid!

McClancy again hits the ropes.and comes through with a baseball slide into a dropkick on Karlie Nash outside. When Verspertine moves in, Dresden kicks her in the midsection and then takes her down with a butterfly DDT.

Eddie Vega - HEY!

Ben Price - Dresden only touched Vespertine, not Nash. Vespertine got into the match, all’s fair right?

Eddie Vega - Hey, those 2g’s are supposed to turn into 10. Your ex-wife has expensive tastes.

Ben Price - Lord, don’t I know.

Eric Wilson - Two minutes remaining! In this match up!

McClancy grabs Nash and throws her back into the ring. Nash is quick to get up, and back away as McClancy pulls the second rope to pull herself in as well. As McClancy climbs through the ropes, Nash runs in and hits her with her patented version of the Knee Trembler.

Eddie Vega - Yeah, Karlie Nash had her scouted.

Nash pulls McClancy fully into the ring. She grabs her by the shoulder and hair and tosses her with a flip towards the middle of the ring. Nash is on her as McClancy starts to get back up to her feet. She pulls her up to her feet, and rears back.

She goes for the Game Misconduct headbutt, but it doesn’t connect when Akame McClancy turns it into a form of a Judo throw that takes Nash over to her back. Nash tries to roll over to get back up.

Ben Price - And Akame McClancy had Karlie Nash scouted as well.

McClancy slips in and grabs one of Nash’s legs. She moves to put it over her head, the knee at her kneck, pulling Nash over a bit. McClancy grabs her arm on the same side and falls back into the hold. It takes her a moment, but she locks in the leg lock around Nash’s shoulder and head,

Ben Price -  Harum-Scarum lock in place, it’s been a while since she’s used this move.

Eddie Vega - One more from her repertoire that isn’t a Tetsuo Oni based one or a McClancy legacy one.

Eric Wilson - One minute remains in this match up!

McClancy locks the hold in, and Karlie Nash starts yelling out right away.

Karlie Nash - NO!

Jones is right there, and starts to check the hold, making sure it’s not going across the throat or anything like that. Abigail Dresden comes back onto the comms as she picks her headset back up.

Abigail Dresden - That’s how we do this. Beginning to believe Akame is right about fighting fire with fire sometimes. And I know my mother will appreciate hearing that in the back.

Ben Price - I’m sure she will.

Jones keeps checking the hold as it’s locked in.

Karlie Nash - NO!

Eddie Vega - Come on, Karlie, come on!

Eric Wilson - 30 seconds.

Nash tries to get out and as she twists, McClancy’s calf goes fully into place on the taller woman, pushing her chin back. Jones is quick to slip his hand in to ensure it’s not a choke.
The increased pressure causes Nash to yell out and then start to tap on top of McClancy’s shin.

Jones quickly calls for the bell!

DING! DING! DING!

McClancy lets the stretch muffler part go, and moves to get her legs free. Nash rolls, grabbing at her knee for a moment. Vespertine comes into the ring to check on her.

Abigail Dresden grabs the Skirmish championship belt and slips into the ring to hand it to her partner. Akame gets to her feet and actually jumps into Dresden’s arms, wrapping her legs around her waist in celebration.

Ben Price - Well that’s not going to help the rumors.

Eddie Vega - No, but I’ve got a bet going on that part as well.

Ben Price - A bet on what?

Eddie Vega - That those two are actually a thing…

Ben Price - You’re really incorrigible.

Eddie Vega - I know. But that’s going to get me more than the match lost me if it’s true.

Ben Price - Well there you have it, a great Warzone as we’re heading towards Cyber Warfare.

Eddie Vega - Things are heating up, almost half way to that next Pay Per View Event. In the meantime, remember.

Both - #JOINTHECONQUEST
