The scene opens in a hotel room where we see Alex Nelson in a chair looking out on the city…

“One win, I’ve finally gotten a win, it was definitely awkward, but a win nonetheless…”

(He’s dressed in blue jeans, black and white Nike sneakers, and a red and gold CWF t-shirt)

“Now, as Dad would say, wash, rinse, repeat.”

“But time I’ve got more opponents and no buxom referee to use their “foreign objects” against me and since it’s a gauntlet match, so I don’t know where I’ll come in, which is hard to prepare for, I know I need to work on my stamina, that’s while I’ll be using the hotel’s pool in a few minutes, and I know that I’ll need to watch video, since I’ll be facing some tough competition.”

“Miguel, I know you helped my father out after Eoin jumped him, and I thank you for that, but when the bell rings Eoin won’t be there and there will be a title up for grabs, so good luck.”

“Karlie, you’ve held gold many times over, so this type of pressure ought to be a cakewalk for you, you probably think you have the biggest target on your back, and you’re not wrong, but I would just recommend not overlooking your competition, anyone can be tapped out, the AXU is for everyone.”

He gets up out of the chair, and steps out onto the balcony, the lights and sounds of the city come sharper into focus.

“Sadie, you fight like someone very close to me, but I’ve learned to not get too familiar or comfortable, especially after eating so many losses as I have, so while I've asked my Dad about a hardcore wrestler’s psychology or lack thereof, I’m not taking you lightly, you’ll bring chaos to the match, I’m sure.”

Rhiannon, this is your first match, a trial by fire, unfortunately, but I’ll give you the same advice I got when I first started, it does get better, but you’ve got to put in the work.”

“And finally, Zolotach, I know Sadie will be a chaotic force, you are as just as unpredictable, so I’m not sure where to start with you, but only to repeat what I’ve said before, the AXU is rated E for everyone, and if you can be put to sleep, I’ll be your melatonin.” 

“This is my chance to step out of my Dad’s shadow, if even for a moment, he’s never held gold in this company, for as long as he’s been here, I could be the Valor champion, something he hasn’t done yet, and finally prove that I belong here, so if you don’t think I’m motivated, think again.”
