... All is quiet in the desert.  The Gobi desert is sparse place.  Noone lives out here except for the creatures that live in the desert.  There are very few humans that can live out here and if they do, they live in Forts or border towns.  On the edge or the outskirts on the border line of a desert.  Mountains, rocks, mesas and everything you would find in vast desert such as this with the temperature in triple digits, arid air with no humidty, flat and vast as far as the eye can see.  Probably the reason it is featured in so many Chinese movies.  An wind picks up and blows sand around in a little dust devil then dies back down.  from over a sand dune, we see a cloud of dust and as we watch, a Black dodge charger with red flame decals come over it and raises a huge cloud of dust after it.  Driving is Vespertine, dressed in all black leather.  It is in this desert she has decided to go on a pilgrimage of sorts.  Losing to Zolothach did her no favors.  Losing both her titles a show before wounded her deeply.  Now she has decided to ride.  Or die.  Something she has done so many times before, centuries ago she fought here under both her Dark Buddha banner and for the Buddha's banner too....

.... if we delve too deep into her thoughts, we get what every wrestler gets when they are on a losing streak.  Questions of what could I have done differently, why me? what should I have done.  What happened?  How could I lose?  To... to... to...

And while Tabitha is still in the hospital sending away for books that will hopefully cure her faster and now she has a match, a match at Civil Unrest against Steve Murdock's son, she is still not 100%.  But Vespertine also has a match against enhancement talent/professional jobber Mike Swanson and while she isn't 100% either, she is going to go into this giving her full attention which is never a good thing to her opponents.  Because her full attention means blood, broken bones,  black eyes, and deep gouges and bruises for her opponents....

...She is currently doing 120 and she has to put her boosters on.  She decided to take Black Beauty, her street racing circuit car, put on desert tires, fill her up with petrol, extra gas and booster fuel and ride, in a place where speed limits aren't observed.  She is not happy.  She doesn't get in the ring for a week yet and instead of taking it out on the Dark Buddhist monks, she figured speed would help more.  She turns a bend between two dunes, drifts, pushes her boosters on, straightens out and zips off.  Now it's up to 140.

....Meanwhile Karlie is currently in the gym working out, training, sparring and getting ready for her title shot match.  For the skirmish title.  Viktor is getting ready for his match.  Against Greg Salazar.  A match to find out the fate of Upstarts.  Is Viktor going to bloody Greg so badly, he can't wrestle every again.  Our Monster Hunter is hunting and his prey is going clueless as to what is coming.  Meanwhile Drago is taking on Apathy.  Apathy beat me to earn her 5th victory and now has a match against Drago for his Conquest Title.  Drago, I think, is not nearly as worried as I think he should be.  Apathy is dangerous, Apathy is mad, Apathy wants vengeance for what Samael did Annika, to Eoin and the rest of her family....

...She pushes her booster rocket again and drifts around another dune and zips off, a cloud of dust behind her.  The speed helps, lack of speed limits and lights and cops and other races and other cars on the road makes it all that much better.  Someone isn't watching like they would in the Bonneville Salt Flats.  Too many people, the Gobi is American country sized so there is plenty of road, plenty of space, plenty of time to cool off and go flat out and try to get the car to 150....

....Even her new protege Tarrasque has a match.  Against Dylan Erickson.  That's gonna be hard hitting and a slobberknocker.  While Dylan is nowhere near the size, strength or power of Tarrasque, he is every bit as physically intimidating as Tarrasque.  He may not be a super soldier but he the strength and the power to hit just as hard, just as fast, and go for however long he can stand.  That's gonna be a hella cool match to be out with.  Meanwhile, in BAWF, James and Jackson are going after the tag team titles.  The new girl April is going after Tara who currently has the Women's Champmionship.  It's a Last Man Standing match because those two ladies have been at each other's throats for months now and it is time to find out who will be the last man standing....

...She rides to the top of a dune, slows down, and stops.  She turns off the engine and gets out.  She sits on the engine hood and looks up at the sun which is saying it's 2PM.  An eagle screams overhead.  She sighs trying to figure out which way to go from here.  She gets out a map, then looks at her GPS on her phone.  From here it's 4 hours north to the Mongolian capital of Ulaanbaatar.  Or 3 hours east to the first forest and piece of civilization in China.  She sighs, folds up the map and lays back on the hood....

....She needs to get back in the game.  She needs to find herself again.  The reason why she wrestles.  The direction she wants to take.  Does she need to retire?  She is only 25, she has many more years of this sport.  But the hits she just took, make it seems like the Avengers lost the Infinity War when Thanos snapped his finger.  Maybe she just needs to refocus, regroup, recharge and redevelop into something...someone new....

....ONe more look around and as the eagle flies by overhead, she gets back into the car and revs off down the dune.  Not her time to go home yet.  Not her time to leave yet.  Maybe she'll find her answer ahead....
