Karlie is sitting on the church lawn, she is surrounded by members of her congregation,

Congregation members together: Amen.

 

As they sit the skies open and rain begins to pour. Karlie smiled.

 

Karlie: Stay everyone, be calmed by the rain, let it cleanse your souls, let it replenish life and help bare fruit, sit  for the rain is harmless.

 

Karlie and her congregation stayed seated on the lawn and the rain poured down covering them.

 

Ask the LORD for rain in the springtime; it is the LORD who sends the thunderstorms. He gives showers of rain to all people, and plants of the field to everyone.

 

They sat never moving as Karlie continued to speak, the rain poured harder again no one attempted to leave.

 

Feel the rain upon you everyone.

 

The rain kept pouring as they continued to sit, Karlie opened her hand and the rain splashed on her palm, for a brief moment the rain looked…..black.

 

Karlie smirked. Finally she spoke again.

The congregation members leave, but Karlie stays a little longer, again she smirks as she wipes black rain from her palm.

 

Washington DC a few days later.

Vespertine and her attorney walk out of FBI headquarters, Ves looked and saw Karlie waiting by the door Ves smirked seeing Karlie vehicle of choice, a 1986 Ford Bronco.

 

Karlie: Glad to see you still looking great Ves, considering everything.

 

Ves: I’m surprised to see you here.

 

Karlie laughs: I drew the short straw. Anyway, hop in.

They hop in and Karlie drives off.

Ves: so we’re headed to the hotel.

 

Karlie: No to a townhouse on the outskirts of the city, an old friend lets me use it whenever I have to lower myself to come to DC. so the FBI asked you the usual questions.

 

Ves: Yeah I gave them my statement.

 

Karlie: Alright then.

 

Ves: So this friend that..

 

Karlie: That lends me their townhouse, Tulsi Gabbard, did a few tours in my mom's medical unit.

 

They drive and arrive at the townhouse and pull up and enter.

Karlie: We can chill here for a bit until you decide to head back to the west coast.

 

Ves: Alright.

 

Karlie: Yeah bathroom is upstairs, last door on the right, if you need to clean up.

 

Ves smiled and walked off and disappeared up the stairs.

Karlie: So how much trouble is Ves in?.

 

Attorney: Ves gave her statement but The FBI are probably not done snooping around, they want to get to the bottom of that black rain incident.

Karlie: Well good luck with that.

 

Ves arrived in a t-shirt and shorts and sat down.

 

Ves: That is quite the shower, you could fit a few people in there.

 

Karlie smirked.

Attorney: I’m not going to ask.

 

The next morning, Karlie stretched in bed, she turned to Ves who smirked.

Karlie: Too bad your attorney left, they missed all the fun.

 

A few hours later and Karlie is alone in town house she walks the grounds.

 

Akame, we have quite the history don’t we how many time have we clashed, I’ve actually forgotten, but what I haven’t is the fact I have never beaten you, and yeah when I beat Alex Nelson to earn a short at the Skirmish title, that little bit of information gave back to me. And speaking of defeating, It burns me to admit that I have never beaten you, the people around me have called you my white whale, which may be true if one truly believes it. After defeating Alex Nelson I earned another shot to finally conquer my supposed White whale, Warzone it’s you and me in the main event for the skirmish title under submission rules, something we are both well versed in, people have noted the name of my submission and it variation on Natural selection, and yeah i’m one of the strongest and I have survived and so have you, but I have spent my time evolving my game Akame, trips to Japan because of you I’ve learned elements of Japanese wrestling, submission wrestling and MMA grappling I’ve evolved into a completely different wrestler from the last time we shared a ring, The skirmish title it will be a true battle of will and skills, Akame The question remains to be answered have you evolved enough since our last encounter to survive this new more dangerous and skilled Karlie Nash, are you are survivor are your stronger than me or has Nash-ural selection passed by by.
