Shadow Caller
Character Info
While his music blares throughout the building, he jumps down between the two rusted white bleachers and begins his strong but disturbingly creepy walk toward the ring.
Dressed in his usual black jeans and black leather military combat boots with a black studded belt, Shadow Caller makes no attempt to hide the pentagram tattoo covering his chest. His dog tags hang around his neck as he slowly makes his way toward the ring.
Shadow Caller enters the ring and walks toward one of the darkest corners. He stands there without saying a word, slowly disappearing into the shadows as he waits for the bell.
Shadow Caller is an enormous 7'2", 300-pound man with a physically imposing build. He keeps his long hair in a braided ponytail. A large pentagram is tattooed prominently across his chest, and military-style dog tags constantly hang around his neck.
In Ring Attire:

1. “THE SHADOW’S EMBRACE” — Shadow Caller stalks his opponent before suddenly wrapping both arms around their waist and dragging them backward into a crushing bodylock. After squeezing them for several seconds, he lifts them and drops them backward onto the mat, then immediately applies a tight rear chinlock. He forces the opponent to carry his 300-pound frame while whispering something inaudible into their ear. He eventually releases them, gives a slow, disturbing smile, and backs away.
2. “BROKEN CLOCK” — Shadow Caller catches an attempted strike and traps the opponent's arm against his chest. He twists into a wristlock, circles around them, and transitions into an armbar while forcing them to the canvas. Instead of settling into one submission, he continually changes the pressure point between the wrist and elbow before suddenly releasing them, stomping beside their head, and motioning for them to get back up.
3. “NO WAY OUT” — Shadow Caller wears his opponent down with punches and body shots before backing them into a corner. Instead of charging, he slowly approaches them. He suddenly grabs both wrists, pulls them from the turnbuckles, drives a knee into their midsection, spins behind them, and applies a standing full nelson. He lifts the opponent onto their toes, then takes them down and transitions directly into a grounded full-nelson submission.
4. “THE LONG NIGHT” — Shadow Caller deliberately attacks his opponent's legs with low kicks, sweeps, and leg drags. Once they are grounded, he traps a leg and slowly applies a kneebar. If the opponent gets close to the ropes, he releases them just before they reach safety, drags them back toward the center of the ring, and transitions into another leg submission.
5. “PERSONA SHIFT” — Shadow Caller stands completely still as his opponent approaches. Without warning, his demeanor changes, and he explodes forward with forearm strikes, body shots, and a sudden takedown. He unloads with ground-and-pound, then abruptly stops. Shadow Caller sits beside his opponent, tilts his head, stares at them, and then suddenly grabs their ankle and applies an ankle lock.
Additional Signature — “DEAD MAN’S WALK” — Shadow Caller grabs his opponent by the wrist and slowly walks them toward the ropes as though escorting them somewhere. Without warning, he yanks them into a short-arm clothesline. As they hit the mat, he hooks the arm and rolls through into a Fujiwara-style armbar, crawling backward toward the center of the ring while refusing to break eye contact.
Additional Signature — “THE CALLER’S CHOICE” — Shadow Caller kneels beside his fallen opponent and gestures toward one arm and then the other. Whichever limb the opponent instinctively protects becomes his target. He grabs it, applies a grounded hammerlock, and rolls through into a modified Kimura-style shoulder lock before changing the angle and trapping the wrist against his body.
Additional Signature — “LAST BREATH” — Shadow Caller drives his opponent backward with short, controlled strikes until exhaustion begins to set in. He catches them around the waist and delivers a high-impact belly-to-back suplex. Rather than making a cover, Shadow Caller rolls through, traps their legs in a body scissors, and applies a rear choke. The sequence can transition directly into “The Blackout.”
CHARACTER / SHOWOFF MOMENTS
After successfully escaping a major attack, Shadow Caller sometimes sits cross-legged in the middle of the ring and simply watches his opponent struggle to stand. He slowly tilts his head from side to side, then points toward the center of the ring, silently inviting them to continue.
Before attempting a submission, Shadow Caller occasionally releases an opponent already close to the ropes and deliberately drags them back toward the center. He then points toward the ropes, almost challenging them to try escaping again.

“THE BLACKOUT”
Shadow Caller traps his opponent in a brutal modified sleeper hold. He first drags the opponent backward into his chest, wrapping one arm tightly beneath the chin while using his opposite hand to secure the grip.
Rather than immediately forcing a submission, Shadow Caller slowly sinks his weight backward and squeezes, occasionally loosening the hold just enough to make the opponent believe they can escape before tightening it again.
If the opponent refuses to submit, Shadow Caller transitions into a body-scissors variation, wrapping his massive legs around the opponent's torso and increasing the pressure until they either tap out or go limp.

“SILENCE OF THE DEAD”
Shadow Caller catches his opponent in a standing hammerlock, twists the arm behind their back, and forces them down to one knee. He steps over the trapped arm and transitions into a modified crossface, pulling the opponent's head backward while controlling the arm across their body.
Shadow Caller holds the hold as long as possible, staying completely expressionless while increasing the pressure. The cold, methodical nature of the submission makes Silence of the Dead every bit as disturbing as the pain it inflicts.
Hybrid — Combat + Wrestling
Slow and painful
Preferred Finish: Submission or opponent passing out
Shadow Caller's temper is his greatest vulnerability. It becomes especially dangerous to his own strategy when an opponent deliberately gets under his skin by bringing up certain subjects involving his deceased twin brother. So he never talks about his family.
